    My mother used to do this with my hair as a little girl! My two younger sisters had lots of luscious super thick hair and she would hot comb their hair on occasion. My hair onbthe other hand is a softer texture, and fine & thin plus also thin as far as density. She never pressed my hair because she said my hair would burn. The fancy style she did for me instead were pretty coil pony tails either with two on each side with hair parted down the middle; and then when i was a lil older she would have one in the back and one side high coil ponytail in front. I'm 45 and this brought such a simple but sweet & emotional memory to me I gotta share this to Mama on fb lol💞

    Long time follower here!🤓
    I have a couple of quick questions as I am going to do this to my hair for the first time:
    1. You have used lwave in conditioner after haie is washed, is there a time when you actually use hair food(used to be called hair grease?)
    2. Any tips for doing on your own hair in the middle or back of your head?
    3. Once the hair is dry, if I put any hair food, will my hair get white bits?

    I noticed when I use products like that it’s a really hard to clean my combs and brushes. What do you recommend to clean them are usually end up using hot sudsy water and I have the best luck with dish soap for cleaning them.

    • @GetGlamFam
      @GetGlamFam  Год назад +2

      Try cleaning them while the comb/brush is still wet with product. If you let it dry on it’s much harder to get clean. I usually rub my combs with brushes (typically nylon bristle or soft bristle brushes) in soapy water to get them clean
