Here's four more characters that I feel like Deserve a Winglet
Hvitur: he's literally in about 4 pages before getting killed
Asha: We hear about her in Book 1, but like Hvitur, she's only in a few pages and then never in the series
Flame: Flame seems to be everywhere the main Story revolves. In book 4, he was in the NightWing island with Starflight. In Book 5 he followed Sunny to the Talons of Peace without them knowing. In book 6, he was suspected as the bomber. Then, in Book 9, he was just imprisoned, freed in Book 10, and we never hear from him again. There's a lot going on with this character, and I feel like he deserves a future Winglet.
Viper: She is one of my favorite characters in Book 4, and I was genuinely sad when she was pushed into the lava by Starflight in defense. All we know about her is in Books 4 and 5, that she has an uncle who takes care of her enough to be upset at her death, but doesnt care enough to be furious like Avalanche was
For me personally I would love to see an Asha winglet. She's the most interesting Guardian to me because of how she's portrayed as a MudWing who wanted to be a mother of sorts. A winglet about her and how she found out about the Talons of Peace and all that stuff. Maybe her and Hvitur had something too, maybe.
Maybe her and Kestrel could have had clashing ideals too. Maybe Asha wanted to tell stories of heros and myths of fantasy creatures to teach morals to the dragonets while Kestrel wanted to raise them as child soldiers basically so they wouldn't get killed.
Asha was just a really cool idea... too bad she was killed before she could even have a word of dialogue.

We don’t need a webs winglet. We need a big legends book from the perspective of kerstral , webs and dune. It could explain their backstories. It would also explain how to talons of peace started. It would give more info on kestrels relation ship with peril and sky. It would let us know more about riptide and webs relationship. And then we would also know dunes and thorns relationship. Much more too.

I really want some backstory on Stonemover because when Darkstalker was healing him and getting rid of the stone scale's in turtle's book he started freaking out and yelling about his claws/talons not being his and referring to them as monsters, so I kinda want to know what happened to him that made him react in that way
I think this was because Darkstaler was enchanting him
I like to think it was a mix of things, he may have felt Darkstalker taking him over and maybe because he feared that he would kill dragons, that fear might have snapped him out of the enchantment temporarily
Darkstalker may have included a little fine print in the enchantment, or he was terrified of his own magic, knowing what had happened to Diamond, Albatross and Darkstalker himself.
I love all these suggestions!!! Especially the tree wars idea, all of those characters need fleshing out, and the idea of having Chrysalis being a real dragon rather than just a group's name is great!!
If we'd had a scorching book, it'd be amazing to be told from a BeetleWing's perspective, as I've heard somewhere from the books they say about how the BeetleWings and LeafWings moved to Pantala because there was no room for 9 tribes on one continent, and how they were attacked by all kinds of insects over and over again, then 3000 years later, we get told the full story of ClearSight and SunStreak!
I would love to see a Hailstorm/Pyrite winglet/legends book because that plot point is SO interesting and more should've been done with it
Honestly your right, there is more that can be done with that, basically two whole years in the wings of fire timeline could be made into a book based on hailstorm’s perspective.

I'm in the middle of writing a Winglet for Chameleon called 'Outcast', but from what I've got planned he needs an entire book. It would cover his shame and anger about not being able to change his scales, running away, finding the scroll, and even meeting Scarlet and Kestrel. I would also love the idea of a Scorching or Tree Wars legends book like you said. From what I gather, all the Pyrrhian tribes have more than one PoVs except MudWings, RainWings and SkyWings, so one of each would be a good way to balance the PovS out in a possible Scorching book.

-Icicle, Winter's smug sister
-Ex-Queen Scarlet (maybe it will explain why she was the way she was?)
-WhiteOut (Sure, Darkstalker was powerful and all, but you can't just leave WhiteOut out!)
-StarFlight (it would be cool to see from a blind dragon's POV.)
-Chameleon (because why not?)
-Queen Wasp (I get that she's mean, but it would be interesting to see why she is the way she is.)
-Webs (because W E B S)
-Vulture, Quibli's rude grandfather (what was he like before he became all scary and decorated with dragon skulls? I gotta know!)
-Morrowseer (did he like his job? what was he like before?)

My 3 perspectives i would want would be Kestral, Scarlet, and Stonemover. but there are many other dragons that would be good as well, like the ones you mentioned. I would also like a Coral winglet

I honestly think that whiteout deserves her own book. Her character is so charming and fun, but her backstory is overlooked by most of the community. If she were to have her own winglet book, then it could be about what it was like growing up with dark stalker. I think that it would be cool to see his younger self from someone else's perspective, specifically whiteout's. I bet she would have a lot to say about him, because after all, she's his sister and would probably spend a lot of time with him. Plus, in the legends book, they left out whiteout! Tui could've easily made a whiteout POV in the book. It would've been cool to see what she thought about clear sight, with her own inclusion in the legends book.
TL;DR, whiteout needs a POV book/winglet!! Her character could have easily been used as a different perspective in the Legends book, but because of the missed opportunity she could be made into a winglet.
I can't believe that Tui skipped out on whiteout like that. Her character was so interesting ;-;

WHY HELLO THERE
I feel like there should also be a book about Whiteout, since she is a misjudged character by wings of dragons (besides only a few like Thoughtful) and I was always curious how her reaction was after Darkstalker dissappeared, would she be kicked out of the tribe for being related to Darkstalker? If so, where? And how would she survive like that? And if Stonemover was animus, would some of Whiteouts descendants before be animus? And perhaps maybe even one of her children! These are some of my questions for Whiteout, a traumatized character from her whole family that deserves a book in my opinion
Before we knew Hawthorn was evil, I thought he was kind of like Bruno from encanto ( finishing up the series recently )

I'm a little biased because she is my favorite character but I really need a book on Listener. I want to see everything that happened after Clearsight told her to take the nightwings some place save and maybe gets an idea of what it was like on the nightwing home before the volcano.

I would love to see a legends book on Albatross specifically, because we only really breifly get told what happens, and if it was in Albatrosses perspective, that would be really cool.
I remember making the plans for an AU, where Albatross became friends with another weird ‘seawing’ as his mother decided to adopt the dragon due to him also having animus magic and an ex prince of a group of deep sea dwelling dragons. It revolves around Albatross and this dragon (Siphon)’s developing relationship as they both weather through the abuse caused by Lagoon, the death of Albatross’s mate and Albatross’s jealousy for his grandson and how they handle it differently.
The main difference is that Siphon enchanted a necklace Lagoon always wears on her to kill her in her sleep in order to help Albatross as he finally snapped from Lagoon’s abuse, but they both covered it up as best as they could as Albatross’s daughter became queen. Unfortunately, she sensed that something was a foot and asked Fathom to see how Lagoon died, when they realised that Lagoon was murdered, they banished Siphon and Albatross and both went on a journey to the Nightwing Kingdom to get away from their past only to get tangled up in the Darkstalker situation and Vigilance’s schemes.
Haven’t written it yet though.
Oh and incase ya wondering, Albatross and Siphon kinda have a loose romantic-platonic relationship going on in this.
For me I would like to see a Whiteout winglet because it would be interesting to see what happened after the Night wings first fled the Nigh kingdom. And her relationship with I can't remember his name now, but it would be interesting and her reaction to her father dieing and Darkstalker dieing' so it would be interesting.
And I would like to see a Legend for Queen Scarlett. Senice she was queen for a a long time. And I would like to see how she grow up into that
I think a queen morohem winglet would be cool.
Some characters I personally want winglets on are:
Queen Glacier: She is a personal favorite of mine, and she is a really cool and complex character for how little we see her. Her friendship with Jerboa is sweet, her not interfering in the Blaze and Blister battle, recognizing it wasn't her place to step in, her love for her daughters and how she was going to step down to the first one who would challenge her is really cool and shows that she was one of the few good mothers in the series, how she really did genuinely care for her tribe and did things to benefit them, even at the expense of herself, and then when she was dying she named her successor herself. She learned from the Sandwing Sisters war and did not want that for her tribe.
Umber and Sora: I really want to see what their up too since they just kinda disappeared after running away. Plus, the Mudwings are incredibly underutilized and to learn more about them would be really cool.
Orca: I wanna know more about her, like why she challenges Coral at 7 years old, and her relationship with Coral and her family as a whole. Like, what if she was closer to Gill than to Coral? What if she had a good bond with her brothers? What items did she enchant/what spells did she cast? We know so little about her and I really want to know more about her.
Overall, these are three characters out of many I want to see more of, and I think winglets for them would be great.

I think for a winglet we should have Viper, which, sort of relates to how Darkstalker, Clearsight and Fathom’s legend was in the past. Its a MUCH needed winglet because we don’t know very much about Viper and the life she had… Also Fatespeaker because I’m still wondering who her parents are and if there dead or not.

If there is a Tree Wars legend book the POVs should be Monarch, Wasp, and Sequoia.

Here is another dragon who deserves more respect and appreciation Spyro the Dragon I know he doesn't have books or novels about him but he's a very underrated and overlooked heroic purple dragon who has his own videogames that came out in the 90s but he doesn't get a lot of love.
Crash Bandicoot overshadows him and outshines him.
I'm also a big fan of Spyro.
As someone who reads warriors and wof I find it hilarious how you use super edition and novella rather than winglet and legend because I mess them up to.
Note on the pronunciation of "chameleon":
The word comes from Ancient Greek, where it starts with "kh". If you really want to be picky about it, the "ch" in "chameleon" should be pronounced as a k sound with a burst of air after it (it's called aspiration).

The dragons I would give Winglets (and what they could be called):
-Orca. We know basically everything about what happened in her lifetime, but nothing about her herself "Challenger"
-Onyx. She's scary but interesting, yet we never delve deeper into her character than the very surface. I want to know, Tui! "Heir"
-Carnelian. She was a great character IMO but she died so early, and such a trivial death. Poor Carnelian :( "Soldier"
-Umber. I know everyone wants a Winglet for him but he deserves it! We never learn anything about the Mudwings and its borderline ridiculous how far Tui is willing to go so they never get too much pagetime. The Hufflepuff of the dragon tribes "Siblings"
-Hailstorm/Pyrite. Like said, it would make for a great psychological horror- Living two lives only to have the happiest one torn away from you. "Two-Faced"
And I literally need a legends book starring Listener, thoughtful and Pearl!
I want a winglet on Queen Wasp. I remeber in book 14 in a flashback she thought that the other two tribes were different which made them dangerous. She said she thought that ever seen she say them as a child.
That made me wonder. Did she just come up with that herself or did someone put that idea in her head?
I would want the winglet to be from her birth to her becoming queen. But just showing short scenes of different memories from her past.
I love to think Queen Anaconda and Glory have the exact same attitude and personality, Glory would be a walking duplicate of Anaconda in my prospective.
I think one of the things holding back a Hailstorm / Pyrite story is the fact that they're both different genders. Any story about them would need to avoid any possible suggestion that Hailstorm's traumatic experience is a cause for him questioning his gender identity. Or that Pyrite's... "uncomplicated" thought processes is somehow indicative of transgender or nonbinary people in the real world.
I think a Hailstorm / Pyrite story should be set after his return to the Ice Kingdom. It can be like the Prisoners winglet, with Hailstorm writing secret letters to someone in the Sky Kingdom, either someone he had known during his time as Pyrite and working up the courage to tell them the truth.. Or him communicating with someone who helps him come to terms with his memories of life from both tribes, giving him a chance to embrace Pyrite as part of who he is, or outright calling himself Pyrite by the end.
Whichever way it is, the last chapter could be him getting Queen Snowfall's approval to go and meet this other dragon.
Edit:
Oh, and throughout the story he can have a replica of the enchanted necklace, only wearing it when he is alone in his room in the ice palace. But, again, embracing it publicly by the end.

Btw, for Grandeur, Rainwings used to be the strongest tribe according to google and also in the dark-stalker legends book we get to see how they would trade with other tribes.
Honestly I would be fine with pretty much anyone for a new winglet/legend, but I have a couple ideas
-Crystal/Gharial winglet
-Tree Wars legend with all three tribes like you suggested but they'd be new characters (except maybe one) from before the war starts and they are all best friends trying to deal with the threat of war looming overhead, forming some kind of rebellion that fails in the end, maybe with the HiveWing getting mind controlled to be a soldier, and it gets erased from history forever. So kinda sad, like Darkstalker Legends
-Chrysalis winglet! New characters or Io or Cinnabar or Grayling or whoever just a deeper look at how the Chrysalis works and what accomplishments they have achieved
-Legend about how the BeetleWings, LeafWings, and some RainWings came to Pantala
-A winglet about what happens in Sanctuary while the secret stealth team is gone (might not be needed, depends on TFoH, I just think it could be fun seeing how the discovery about humans and Pantalan refugees affects everything)

I think that Mastermind's romance was set up because of Morrowseer's fling with Secretkeeper, and they hate each other. I think maybe Mastermind was chosen to be with Starflight's mother because he was smart and she was strong.

Speaking of rain wings though what would be interesting would be exploring some of the other rain wings who were held prisoner and also I want to see more from splendor who I think kind of got screwed out of her thing cuz we never get to see what kind of queen she was since she was already kidnapped by that point and by the time she got out Glory had already taken the throne and she was the only one who didn't get a chance to fight for it
