How to turn the caliber where you can put them over the break pad

I don’t have a Chevy, but procedure is basically the same for my 98 Dodge Ram, my 2000 VW Jetta, and my 2013 Altima. I might consider replacing my rotors even though they don’t have vibration, they have grooves on my Altima and Jetta. I like your truck with the C Clamp even though I got a caliper set, the C Clamp is FAST!

Yes most cars are like this in the front

Dullah Goso hard I appreciate your unedited videos without the cut-edits. It helps to show detail on how to do things that some of the others leave out-details that might be important to us amateurs or DIY people

Dullah thanks for explaining, and showing what can happen if you just change the pads and not the rotors at the same time.
It probably doesn't happen to everyone, but it does happen.
Just had mine done on my 2016 Chevy malibu 2.0 the rotors looked good in the front, the rear rotor had one groove.
I changed everything and have been second guessing my decision. After watching your video today I know I made the right choice. Thank you.
PS: I don't work on my own car, I let someone like you do it. I watch your videos because I want to know how it's done.

Yes you made the right decisions its good to know about your car because there is a lot of dishonest mechanic out there so if you give them the job you know what to look for and know what they change and if they do it correct or if they even do it at all
