      It's actually a really interesting topic. For e.g. and I don't mean to be rude or anything, but when I tried AIMER7's aim training routine and sensitivity, I got skill plateaued. Nothing was improving and my mental state was deteriorating. But, as an experiment, I tried more and more tracking, target switching dodge and click timing dodge scenarios on Kovaak 2.0, which made my aim smoother, even though my scores weren't that high. Now, my only problems remain decision making, movement and controlling stress and anxiety. Already working on the latter two, tap-strafing, wall-bouncing and bunny-hopping whilst playing some calming music. Also, I don't get as scared to push now, but, my B.R. k/d is trash (0.46 k/d) but, my Arenas k/d is somewhat decent (1.01 k/d and steadily rising). Keep in mind, I started playing on Season 7. All this goes to show that, although we can suck at somethings at first, practice, patience and keeping an optimistic mindset really helps. The thing I feel I really need now is a guide on how to translate that Arenas k/d into my B.R. gameplay, as my B.R. k/d was actually better (0.71 k/d). As soon as I got 70 kills on Pathfinder, however, I feel like I get bots for teammates, while my enemies are like Platinum players. So, how do I improve? Should I take more risks? Should I spam grenades at their face? Or just improve my aim? Let me know.

      @@zomorion9183 same wonder here about translating Arena "skill" (emphasis on quotes given I'm trashier than you with 0.1 BR / 0.15 Arenas), and also unleash my skill (one day in one afternoon I did 30 kills, which is a third of the kills I did in 300 games).

    • @zomorion9183

      @@user-or6mz4gy6i I really think that, Arenas tests your advanced aim. I'm not sure, but BR tests your advanced movement more. See that's the thing, I changed my movement settings a while back as my left shift and ctrl was broken, fixed it, got back and sucked again, this time in Arenas too (1.01 k/d), as my basic movement is off. Get a hang of both, plus some game sense and you should be fine. I'm currently working on both.
      BTW, GL to you man. It takes a lot of strength to accept the fact that, there's always room for improvement, which is something I need to work on. GG bruddah.

      Thanks for your advices. If I did not think there is room for improvement I would be delusional:) But I guess having average performance from time to time helps keeping the goal in mind. At my level of I get to 0.2 K/D I'll consider it a victory:)

    jesus your grid shot is crazy. i realized recently that my mouse skates are worn as hell so there's a hell of a lot of friction preventing me from doing micro adjustments cleanly which is why my wingman is so bad even if my tracking is good, those tiny flicks (in the milimeter scale) are insanely annoying to do. ordered a new pair and looking to get a light mouse (down from g502).
    i find that horde shot has the most helpful training for me personally, my aim is good at the mid range but when people are in my face i just hip fire spray which can work a lot of the time, but I want to be able to track them accurately not just have the hipfire recoil handle it using random chance.

    You may mention this in the video, as I am only half way through. As an aim enthusiast, I strongly encourage anyone who wants to take their game to the highest level, to read VF_Aimer7’s thesis paper on aiming. It’s like a 64 page PDF file you can find on Reddit. The guy gives the most in depth detail on how to get better. He will tell you how to actually improve with useful scenarios in aim training. I would love to see you make a video on it. Or even reading it and trying it out. It’s really long, but has a section for every single skill level. It’s amazing.

    First of all thank you for the insane content. I think there is a subject that is rarely discussed namely the aiming mechanics and bad habits or not to do things. Well when mouse designers design a mouse they have some principles that they follow. Using the mouse according to these principles will maximize your output. What im trying to say is everyone use the mouse differently to aim. Those who are good and grip mice differently, they could learn some comon latent factors about how to use this tool which is the mouse. Well indeed there is latent factors that make you good at aiming because at the end mice follow some defined design principles.I know eveyone approach aiming differenty and Im personally againt the idea of "whatever work for you". Well imagine using a golf club the other way around, how much you gonna be good and consistent ? I guess this is a hard and not well understood topic. A video about the aiming mechanics + things not to do while aiming will be very helpful. For instance how to put pressure, should one grip tight or loose, should you push into the mousepad to stop the mouse or tense your hand, should you use ring + pinky or pinky/ring only to aim, low vs high thumb placement, etc... I think listing the not to do thing first the reduce the realm of possibilites.Thank you !

    i think you have to prioritize fun over winning sometimes, i mean its a game! the point is to have fun and maybe win, sometimes me and my friends mess around with weapon choices and some generally stupid stuff at the expense of us winning and its always really fun because we always know that we're gonna lose and if we somehow win its a lovely surprise! aside from having fun you have to also put yourself in really shitty situations just like he said in the video, just cause there are 18 people in the doorway underground in the portal room doesnot mean you shouldnot go there it means there is opportunity to overcome a challenge which is 1: fun and 2: good for experience in games

    For the Apex players, put in a solid hour or two on Arenas daily. Doing just that rapidly improved my mechanics as well as making me play WAY better under pressure situations in ranked due to Arenas just being so naturally sweaty. Just my two cents!

    • @nyx4074
      @nyx4074 3 года назад +1

      Not much pressure on Arenas tbh. 3 v 3 and you focus on that. That's way it's easier to farm damage in Arenas than BR. When Arenas was released, I spam like crazy. But after that I jump back to BR and my game sense is so damn dull. Arenas is good for mastering weapon tho because you can buy it. Having said that, in BR I don't always get the weapons I want. But I agree if you focusing to work on your aim you can play Arenas.

I've hit diamond plenty of times and even gotten to diamond 1 before but I find my nerves getting the best of me all the time.. ill panic a little per say cuz im all alone and have three people literally chasing me across the whole map and when I try to even seclude one of the enemy players to make a 1v1 it never goes well cuz his buddies are right there.. even try hiding and somehow still get found not even remotely able to get an angle or good spot.. and tbh I think most my games go like that... any tips?
