@@cidst8 The Meta Module - Not out yet but it looks amazing that! There are a few modern equivalents, like the Axoloti, Empress Zoia, Poly Effects Hector, Mod Duo, Organelle, and perhaps Symbolic Sound Kyma running on a Paca/Rana/Mara (more for sound design but still worth noting though very high end!!)
The Nord Micro Modular basically looks like VCVRack? Since ElectroSmith's $30 DaisyDSP microcontroller (and especially the $40 Daisy Patch Submodule meant for interfacing with modular) both support PureData and Gen~, I believe a much more capable Nord Micro Modular could be built and expanded on with additional pots/inputs/DACs/ADCs/DSP modules. (It would be super easy if you're tech savvy, or, using LLMs and a employing a bit of patience, even if you're not.)
I actually discovered the Micro Modular too this year, didn't know it existed before. It's incredibly cool, especially for something of its age, but configuring it is a bit like the Empress Zoia ... more options than you'd fit into a lifetime 😅
Who would have thought that, in the year we finally got a standalone Ableton Push, not a single reviewer would mention it in their year end. Hopefully in a year or two when the bugs are worked out.
All fine but none of them make good music : mostly techno noise or noise...... very dull and static ... I can never understand why people drop 2K usd for OP fields or whatever it is I can get a 128 voice V TI2 desktop and walk away with $500 in my pocket Hmmmmm ? 🤔
Thanks for having us PC, and for allowing something from…1998 😅 (Nord pls bring back the modular even though to do so would be madness)
Our pleasure! And seriously Nord ... please!
How about the 4ms module that hosts VCV Rack patches?

Would be a dream come true
Great mention. Got a G2 my self here. The way the nord modular did with polyphony is often missed in today’s soft modulars.
Thank you @perfectcircuit
Truly honored to have @ooramusic vote for us among so many fun creations out there.
Honoured to be included in this all star lineup! 😊
Thanks for having me along with super inspiring artists!
Its crazy seeing my synth heroes in a video from my local synth store!
And it’s crazy seeing my DM hero comment on a video of my synth heroes!

Yeah! And my pick of 2023 is the Buchla/TTA 292T with home made vactrols. Stellar achievement and a future collector's item.
Nord Modular is a win. Absolutely LOVE mine.
I love these videos!!! Slowly becoming a fall tradition for me

I still like the nord modular with brings its own keys (ext. for more polyphony) a lot
Cool episode
How do you manage to get hold of this module? There are many US vendors listed but no one, I mean no one has them in stock.

It’s crazy to think people like different things.
@@ilyandilymusic I'm not criticizing what people like, all I'm saying 98% of them make shit music if you can call it that 😁
Cheers 🥂
@@EBMZEQUENZER I'm sure you make excellent music but interestingly you don't have any thing posted on your channel…
