I need this. I'm sick of looking at my métrics and seeing that the audience leaves within 3 seconds of the video

Awesome video as always! 🤘 "Diving right in" is the strategy I use for every video. My channel is mostly metal covers of music from Sonic games so as soon as someone clicks, they are listening to the cover right away. 😄

Shorts are working really great on my second channel. I mean, I am just small content creator and I work really hard (I also use a little bit of Famester but I think that is a necessity nowadays). I just give all my videos initial dose of views and likes, and that helps them to spread out literally everywhere, bringing more and more organic views and subs day after day.

    Rule no. 1
    Quantity over Quality

I compared this weeks vid to last weeks, and I just noticed the shark over your right shoulder. I wonder if that will be a long term gag of hiding the shark in the vids.
Fun way to boost engagement to have people looking for the shark. Btw, yes I saw it bring in a pillar piece too. :)

I have a machining channel. I always open with a 6 second grab from somewhere in the video.

The shear drop off in the first 30 seconds in many of my videos is abysmal. I'll try some of what you talked about in the next one!

You could do a whole channel on nothing but hooks, and it wouldn't be wasted. 😅

Nah. I'd rather make whatever I want and if people don't stick around that's fine.
