Flukemarm as a bossfight is interesting because it's the textbook definiton of a battle of attrition. Until you kill it, it will endlessly spawn waves of semi-homing enemies at you that will divert your attention away from dealing damage to the boss itself, which especially punishes players who like to passively heal. I won't lie, you solved that issue in a pretty interesting manner by using quick focus to tip the scale of attrition in your favor, which is actually the first time I've seen that. Most other players just walk into the boss room with a full soul meter and start spamming the howling wraiths (4 casts instantly chunks roughly 70% of it's health).
I noticed the Flukefeys couldn't hit me immediately when I stood in certain spots, so that gave me the idea to use Quick Focus xD I didn't know Howling Wraiths was THAT strong though, or I would've gone that route
@@ofcitszen As a matter of fact, since you have one extra soul vessel, you could have equipped Shaman Stone, gotten full soul, and then casted 4 Howling Wraiths to deal 240 damage to Flukemarms 350 HP. Then just hit it 5 times and cast two more. It would've been over in 10 seconds. Howling Wraiths is very strong, but also very difficult to use properly in many cases, since it hits three times and it can hit enemies out of its own hitbox so you don't always deal full damage, and you are very open to get attacked yourself while casting it. But against a stationary boss like that it's really effective.
"Maybe I'll just finish the entire colosseum" oh boy that would be impressive. Very impressive. Congrats on beating Flukemarm tho. It's not easy with those enemies overwhelming you, but you came up with a pretty solid strategy and it worked. I find it very funny tho you always went the long way around to get there which stressed you out a couple times lol, at least that got you a good bit of geo
@@ofcitszen It's just those three colosseum trials you see, but there is a reason why I did the third trial as the last thing in the entire game lol (Even tho it's not *that* difficult, I could've done it before, but I didn't feel like it. Still very hard tho)
20:10 it is possible you got a weird bug that takes away your ability to use spells. I have had that before and no idea what causes it. But since you were able to use them again shortly after idk, maybe it was just your input not registering...

39:04 it feels so good to be able to just spam attack without even having to worry about knockback and falling off...
