This movie felt like a fan fiction of Kung Fu Panda.

Really weird to focus on his staff, it's never been important or needed for Po to use his abilities, i dont like zhen as the dragon warrior, their reasoning makes no sense, under those requirements Tai lung could've been the dragon warrior 😂

Tai lung sjhouldve 100% been the dragon warrior and this new path seems to be created by someone who never saw the 1st 3 movies.
imo this spits in the face of the fns who have grown to love the furious 5.
Tai lung should've been but a female protagonist is important across ALL PLATFORMS!
Why Tai Lung ?, He's the former Villain so He can't become the next Dragon Warrior
Tai Lung also lives in the Spiritual Realm, which means He's basically imprisoned for his mistake

Tai lung didn't really need a redemption arc. But I am glad that he acknowledged that his place is now in the spirit realm.
@@nil981 Tai Lung's last lines ("See you on the other side, Dragon Warrior.") could foreshadow how _Kung Fu Panda_ will end: an elderly Po ascends to the Spirit Realm while an older and wiser Zhen becomes the new Senior Master of the Jade Palace training the next generation of the Furious Five.
The way people are judging this movie is wack; this is essentially the beginning of the 2nd trilogy; the other movies are mostly likely going to be more over the top.
People were complaining that Zhen didn't make sense for Dragon Warrior, nor did Po. All the Panada movies have rushed or short plots; they are 130 minutes long, so when peeps say pacing, I'm like, they're all fast-paced.
Po shouldn't be beating Tai Lung after a couple dumpling fights, but he did because of movie.
The whole point of Dragon Warrior is finding someone unique and different, or Po wouldn't be the MC.
The only thing I can think is that people watched this movie when they were young and have actually lost whatever they had before because 3 is easily the best-pacing, most-threatening, interesting villain from 1000 years ago and the funniest in the series by far.
People who love two make no sense to me. It has a villain who was especially bad to Po, but Shen, outside of his relationship deeds already done before, isn't interesting. 2 easily has the least action and interesting action, which is kind of the point of the movie anyway. Shen was destroying Kung Fu with weapons-you know, the thing that makes the series interesting.
The three newest and possibly coolest characters are wasted, with Rhino dead pretty much in 2 seconds. The other two hide in jail for the whole movie.
I like two, but it is basically just running around talking and finding inner peace, but the on-screen plot isn't amazing, nor is the combat.
The reason people like that movie boils down to Shen killing Po's family, so I dunno if they even watch things or just enjoy the overall plot and just read the back of a book cover instead of the book.
I personally think people hate three because Kai outright beats Po.
The panda being silly doesn't make sense because that is their point. We all have something special and unique inside of us, no matter how different, thus the point of the pandas.
But 2 is the lowest rated in user score on tomatos for a reason I guess.
And while I like Shen it is like people don't understand him as a character he isn't scary or even that interesting.
He is mainly afraid pathetic the reason he killed all the Pandas and while he is a decent fighter he isn't top tier would've lost to the 5 head to head without the weapons.
The most interesting thing about shen is how he messed up his almost perfect life king of a city to random criminal.
Shen is a ploter and a guy always looking over his back he is okay but again outside of him killing all the pandas there isn't much to him and I don't even think that adds to his character.
Also I do not want a redemption arc for Tai Lung the best place for that plot would've been in 1 when Shifu dumped that heartwarming speech to him.
Tai Lung doesn't seem like the redeemable type if anything he should comeback and Dumble and triple down and this time give us a good end fight cause his fight against po in 1 was lackluster just lol panda win.
I feel like it’s out of character that Sifu doubts Zehn after all he learned that there are no accidents and trained Po despite his many difficulties you’d think he’d learn his lesson
It may have to do with Zhen being a wanted criminal who had earlier tried to steal many of the Jade Palace's ancient relics. While Po has good morals due to being raised in a loving environment by his adoptive father Ping, Zhen grew up among hardened and ruthless outlaws such as the Chameleon. In any future _Kung Fu Panda_ films or shows, it would be interesting and funny to see Po, Shifu, and the Furious Five teach Zhen the virtues of kung fu while also putting up with her loveable roguish ways.
Heres the absolute difference.
Kung fu panda 1 Po = Not a criminal. Also that Oogway gave an solid reason in kung fu panda 3 at the end in the spirit realm telling Po that he was long destined to be Oogway's successor because only Pandas understand the truth essence and power of chi

Why couldn't Po have picked one of the pandas he taught from the 3rd movie or TV show instead of Zhen.
It would have made more sense to choose a panda he taught
A panda could become a new member of the next generation of the Furious Five in the fifth or sixth film.
Why couldn't Oogway have picked one of the Furious Five, whom Shifu had taught for a long time, instead of Po? It would have made more sense to choose a student Shifu had taught.

Honesty i will give this movie a 7/10 honestly it's not bad movie but i still think there some things to be desired. Like every main villain getting a redemption. It should have been only Tai lung. The other thing is he should have seth to Po that he loved his father Shifu and that he is regretting everything that he is done to hurt him

Worst in the franchise. No furious 5, zhen betrays po for chameleon then realizes her mistake and helps po defeat cheamelon, tai Laung says a few words to po then just heads back to the spirit world. Litterally so much wasted potential in the movie, like they could of had tai lung reunite with shifu etc.

I haven't watched the movie yet, but from what I've heard, it's not terrible. Regardless, I was a WEE bit disappointed in the ending. I'm happy that Tai Lung came to an understanding with Po, but it wasn't the way I pictured it. I was also disappointed that Tai Lung and Shifu never interacted. What a missed opportunity.
Here's how I would have done Kung Fu Panda 4 (in a nutshell):
Give Tai Lung a bigger role in the film, specifically as the third member in the group of Po and Zhen. At first, Po and Tai Lung are at odds for obvious reasons, but during the journey, they eventually accept each other as friends. Tai Lung also comes to understand why he was denied to chance to be the Dragon Warrior. In the end, rather than having Zhen become the Dragon Warrior, Po chooses Tai Lung as his successor, who has redeemed himself and now fully understands the responsibility of being the Dragon Warrior. Po then departs the Valley with Zhen, hoping to train her to become something different.

The story was planned to be 6 movies, according to the producer. So unless they changed their minds since then, or decide to cut them in small episodes for Netflix or something, there should be 2 more movies coming

Personally, I loved the movie, wished it was a bit longer actually. Loved the hidden adult jokes, but also that the villain had a surprisingly relatable reasoning for her villainy. She was bitter and angry because 'gatekeeping' prevented her from learning and growing, and honestly, I think that's a good modern and relatable reason. I've really started to notice a rise in gatekeeping to prevent people from learning and getting better.
I kind of feel like the furious five took a backseat in this one, and for good reason to let Zhen have the spotlight

I think Furious Five is planned to appeared in the scene where Chameleon takes the first action, but since the Director can't get the VA, it was replaced
The Furious 5 and Tai Long should’ve had more screen time and attention in the story
I guess it was better to just not have them around than to play a very minor role like what happened in 3
@@Axel_Kasai except they did play some roles, they help fight against the Jade zombies as they call it. Po needed untrained pandas to beat and distract the jade zombies at the final fight 😂😂.

the ending is great and i like where this story will go and have potential of spin-offs. There is a theory that once Po's story ends, we might have Zhen take over and name it Kung Fu Fox. If we want to explore more of the world. Hope Zhen will develop her chi energy and other skills. Zhen is amazing and a great character. She is cool. 😁
It could've been better can't lie
The film was pretty good like usual but I don’t think it was necessary. Like, they made the chameleon get beaten super easily when she’s regarded as the most powerful sorceress. And all villains getting a redemption arc makes no sense, like kai and shen pretend like they didn’t try to destroy the world and make it really pointless for all the events from the past 2 films, and they really did tai lung dirty, they should have gave him the perfect redemption arc.
Tia lung shine and Kai are back to team up with PO?

Movie was fairly good , but i wish we saw oogway and Po didn't show is full power. Also the story of chameleon is very basic.
If the Chameleon absorbed Tai Lungs abilities and strength near the end, how did she take over the factory near the start of the movie?
How did she know what Tai Lung looked so she can transform? it seems the Valley of Peace is sort of unknown if Dragon Warrior title holds no weight
Po choose zhen coz she mastered the move just by seeing it once like master shifu taught po his greatest move and he defeated tai lung with he figure it out on its own by my opinion po is the most strongest character in the entire universe currently but he just fakes it by looking stupid all this was just test for po to choose dragon warrior simple plot bruh he could defeat Camelioan from the beginning he is master Oogways choice after all

What??? Kung Panda 3 was way better than this Kung Fu Panda 4. Villain of Kung Fu Panda 3 was showed how menacing he was and also it made it feel like that whereas in Kung Fu Panda 4, the only time Chameleon tried to be menacing was when she pushed the Bear downstairs and was only told that she is menacing and not showed how menacing she was. Also, her backstory sounds so lame, like look at Mantis and Viper they got trained in Kung Fu and Chameleon couldn't
Kung fu panda 3 gave us an better reason why Po was picked by Oogway compared to Zhen being picked by Po.
Zhen an criminal and gave the Chameleon the staff of wisdom and absorbing the villains spirit and kung fu which couldve turned her into the most dangerous villian alive and endangering all of china.
