I dislike that she only talks about klaus being an original vampire when he was a hybrid as well, that’s what he was known for, it’s what made him a special evil
He was a vampire longer than a hybrid and he barely shifted so it makes sense he would be more known for being a vampire than a hybrid
ShysterPie if we wanna be technical he was a werewolf all his life as well he carried the trait with him, that’s why he wanted to break the curse his mother casted. The whole reason why Elena had to die in the first place was because of klaus becoming a hybrid. Like klaus was the turning point for werewolf and vampire species. And even though he only turned once, his bite definitely had the killing that a wolf carried.
Same, like i know that they tried to make it easy to understand for people who maybe didn't watch tvd or the originals but being a hybrid was literally the loophole that allowed Hope to exist.
It would have been easy enough to just have her say "My dad was one of earths original vampires. he was also a vampire-werwolf hybrid. It's a long story but it's basically the loophole that made it possible for me to exist. My mom was a werewolf alpha......my grandmother was a witch......it all got passed down to me"
That would have been maybe 5 more seconds of dialogue and would have very simply explained her correct backstory.

Mikayla Oulai same. Especially considering how much he identified with his werewolf side, which was the whole point of him blowing up on Greta and those “pure” vampire nazi bigots in TO s5. He even called himself “a wolf king” at the end of TO s2 when he was holding baby Hope. It’s a little pet peeve, but, after all, he wasn’t like all the other Mikaelson vampires, he was the Original Hybrid.
Her dad wasn’t just one of the world’s original vampires, he was the original hybrid. The most powerful and strongest creature in the world.
Her grandmother wasn’t just any witch, she was the original witch.
It’s really irritating me that hope saying that klaus is just an ‘original vampire’ when he was actually a hybrid. Like come on, klaus was born a werewolf at first but then got turned into a vampire, so actually he isn’t just a vampire. And same to Hayley she isn’t or wasn’t just a werewolf she became a hybrid

I’m still not watching it because in MY head, all the Originals are alive and happy.

Interesting parallel in this scene with Stefan and Damon and how their father (Giuseppe) burned Damon with his cigar ... and Landon saying that his foster father burned him with cigarettes too
So I’m trolling through clips like these from legacies when I thought it would be really cool if they did this for the new episodes when they return (if your not caught up spoilers ahead, but really if your not caught up it’s your own fault.)
So Landon and hope are asleep and they should have Landon go though her memories with like the child version of hope and have her lead Landon to the now hope. This would be a great way to show characters like Caroline and hopes family while also showing some not seen parts of hopes childhood. This would show Landon a new side of hope while also creating chances for some more character development. They could also do this the other way round with hope going through Landon’s memories.

I blame hope for Klaus, Elijah, and Hailey's deaths bc first off she puts a spell on her mother and puts her in a coffin just so Klaus would come back, yea she got to see him after a long time but STILL. Then she goes missing and gets killed while Elijah watches. Elijah gets his memory back bc hope traps all of them in a trance or something while she puts the hollow in her so she could be reunited with her family. She can't deal with it anymore, so Klaus has it put in him so that they could kill him but turns out Elijah wants to kill himself bc he can't forgive himself. While leaving CAROLINE all alone again. So don't say everybody seems to die on u bc it's practically all ur fault

@@outcastpov9366 Hope grew up in an entirely wrong enviroment and experienced many things noone sohuldn't, especially a child like being possesed, watching people die in multiple cruel ways, being raised almost alone for half her life and having to lie the other half.
So she did kidnap her mother in order to see Klaus. That was wrong.
But the only reason Hayley and Klaus are dead is because elijah erased his memories. Greta waited for Antoinette to have a hold on elijah and use him. They wouldn't dare to attack without an original on their side. In fact even before Hayley was kidnapped by Hope, Greta had already planned to kidnap her and they were able to put marcel down so if Hope hadn't kidnapped Hayley, Greta would have. Hope kidnapping Hayley gave Klaus time to get there🤷♂️.
Her taking the hollow was a bad idea but elijah should have been the sacrifice🤷♂️

Its not that accurate because in this case Hope is the most powerful witch and she sacrificed herself in s1, getting Landon back in s2 and then sacrificing Landon in s2 ep 13, sacrificed her human life in order to kill malivore and killed Landon in order to kill malivore🤷♂️

But in real life it sometimes is like that. You meet someone, you like them and you then date them. It may not be a long relationship, but its still a relationship.
I for one is tired of the slow slow burn that is always happening, because most of the times its not like that in real life.
So Hope and Landon has "known" each other for 2 years, clearly Landon has a crush on her and have had for 2 years, so they might date for awhile, but I doubt they'll go past 2 seasons, if even Landon is a good guy or survives the season.

It truly does depend on who is telling the story.
Klaus wanted to free his locked werewolf side, he didn’t feel complete. His mother bound him, removed his identity by subduing his werewolf side.

Klaus wanted to keep his family, his daughter safe. Doing whatever was necessary to make that happen.

Why is Hope referred to as tribrid but Klaus is just hybrid? Klaus is part werewolf from his father side, and part witch from his mother side. Then he became a vampire thru black magic.

@@skyefaith2716 Can't think of any powerful witch on the show whose parent isn't also a witch. Hope's witchy powers are so strong, of course she got that from her father side. Except for Elijah, we've seen that every Mikaelson can do magic. Freya, Finn, Rebekah and Kol are powerful witches.
Klaus may have been part witch but he didnt have witch powers. No other werewolf has witch powers. The hollow cursed her coven stripping them of witch powers and turning them into werewolfa

Highly recommend watching this with "Dear God"-LAWLESS playing in the background in a separate webpage. Would have been an perfect song choice for this scene, especially if the song's finale instrumental played around the time Hope is about to show Landon her memories.
