I didn't know that spanish was Alexis Bledel first language and English was her second, that's why she talked spanish to one of her grandparents maid's in a episode.
This show ministered to me in so many ways growing up. I learned a lot and most importantly I got to see a sweet relationship between a mother and a daughter and relate to the poor one. Watching Lauren Graham basically be herself was a great comfort to me and I think has impacted my life in a very good lasting way. Thank you God for Gilmore Girls.

Alexis started speaking but after lauren joked she was just lying about knowing spanish (i love lauren too! but that was a bit mean although i dont think she meant it in a bad way) alexis kind of became awkward and went into her shell. it must be difficult being in showbiz if u are an introvert coz u r constantly forced to put urself out there, i cant even do it in real life.
I think she just realized that alexis was very uncomfortable and shy. She can't really 'do much' with shy people on the show because they don't really talk...
Laure was quite disrespectful when she said that Alexis was lying about speaking Spanish. I wasn't expecting Lauren to be so mean and to call her cast-mate a liar on national television.
