Love it, thank you 😊 I watched The Weedy Garden video on worms and he reckons if you put onions out in the sun for a couple of hours it gets rid of the smell that worms don’t like
Top-class instructional video on everything you need to know about creating an awesome worm farm! I absolutely love your handwritten cardboard lists - I always think it speaks reams regarding the originality of your character and the genuineness and passion of what you truly believe in!
As per usual great info delivered with a genuine smile Love it 😀❤️😀. Oh and thanks for the reminder about the cardboard blanket, I’ve had my worm farm for so long (20 years) and had totally forgotten about the cardboard. 😀🙏👍🏻
I would love to see what you're growing in your garden! I live in Sydney but hoping to move to Hobart in the next few years, would be great to see if/how the colder climate affects what you're growing
I will be getting an old bath soon and I was wondering about positioning. Yours seems to be in full sun does that become an issue for the worms during summer? I was considering turning my lid into a seat to maximize space. Just wanting your thoughts. Thanks and keep up the awesome work.
Thank you for this video! Exactly what I needed as I'm setting up our garden this year. I was wondering a few things ... So the one drain hole is enough and did you say it has a filter screen on the inside? Also, is it insulated between the tub and the tin sheeting? I live in the mid Atlantic region in the u.s. and wonder if I would need to bc our winters can be quite cold.
What I did was get an old bit of shade cloth and wrap it in a bit of chicken wire. Then put over the hole and put a brick on it. It acts as a filter. If you RUclips Geoff Lawton worm farm he does the same thing :)
Nice video! I started composting and mine is a compost bin set on the ground, but like yours is moisturised and full of worms (and some centipedes too). How can I separated the compost from the worms and insects without harming the worms? I might need to sift and add sand to make it less compacted, right?
How do you choose whether to feed your worms or your vermin proof compost bin? Is it just about balancing what you provide to the worms so they're not getting too much in one go?
Love it, thank you 😊

How do you process the castings?

Would love to know more about what your book contains?
You can watch a little video about it on my insta page over here. I just uploaded it yesterday :-) -instagram.com/goodlife_permaculture/?hl=en
Thanks. I'm not on Facebook or Instagram, so not sure I can see it.
