After the recent chaotic weather everyone around the world has been experiencing. Your video felt just like the arrival of Spring, bringing much needed hope to us all! Also, what you guys have achieved on what is akin to a mountain slope, is a big kick up the backside for not making more use of my own garden! Thank you for the inspiration!
Great introduction video, I'm looking forward to what's to come. I could watch a hour long property tour, hoping for longer format videos in the future.
What a wonderful place you two (oops, three!)have created. Thank you for your entertaining and informative tour, much appreciated. Looking forward to the upcoming videos etc. Gratitude from lockdown in southeast Queensland😀❤️😀❤️
Wow your property is looking fantastic. Homestead dream! I can't wait till our little homestead one day grows into aomething incredible like you have. Thank you for sharing 🌱❤
Lovely and so inspiring to many tiny home food forest. Need to build upon more composting and nutrient companion planting. Tricky here in central Texas! 😊
Lovely! Thank you for sharing your space here. We’d love to hear more stories and details about your goats in the future, hopefully you can share more of that too. 👏👏👏
So happy to see another video--especially since it's winter where you are! Thanks for always being so upbeat and for giving such good info!! I'm looking forward to your next video. Take good care.
What an inspiration you are, we recently moved to south Gippsland, large suburban block with some pretty major drainage issues, we can’t wait to start our garden but looking at how we are going to face these issues! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos!
I am so glad to see you bubble up in my RUclips feed. My wife and I are thinking seriously of relocating to Tassie from Queensland and developing a permaculture garden because we have something similar in Queensland, although we didn't know it at the time when we purchased our house, so we may need your help when we get down there. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to the next update. Cheers!
thank you for this tour and explanation !! your garden is inspiring and also very educational, I didn't really understand food forests until watching this!! Also has planted some good ideas in my mind and makes me excited to get back outside :D
How do you keep possums out of your edibles? It's a never ending battle to try to keep them out of the system here (up north in Tassie) on our 4 acres out in the bush. We have tried to create enclosed areas but the possums are always one step ahead of us and keep finding ways to break in and once they do, they can do an incredible amount of damage. Your garden looks fabulously productive. Awesome job guys! :)
You mean "South Hobart" don't you. I have similar steep landscaping problems here at the bottom of Hillborough road. The soil here is also super hydrophobic. Good to know that some of your bees might be working to pollinate my vegies and providing you with honey!
Hi Hannah, I love your premaculture garden. It's my dream. But my request is about Brussel sprouts. Tassie is similar to Canberra weather, Do/Can you grow them? Wrong season but could you do a video next autumn on how to grow the towers to. Are they the same as the kale trees maybe?
I was pleased to hear that kale can be pruned in a way to keep it going over several years. I have a Tuscan kale growing on Ngunnawal country (cold winters and hot dry summers) that has been going for about a year but is starting to flower as the weather warms up. Do you know if it will die after flowering? Could I perhaps stop it from flowering to keep it going? Keen to have a constant supply and turn it into a kale tree if possible so any advice would be appreciated!
Super Doooooper to have you guys back,Thank you :)
What a beautiful paradise you have created.
I’ve missed your videos so much. Thanks for the update of your beautiful property.

Good on you. As a suburban Melbournite it’s awesome to see what you’ve been able to achieve on the “marginal” land. So vibrant and alive.

Absolutely enjoyed watching your video, your work is amazing. You are a very inspirational family.
Amazing! I am so jealous of the feijoas, our winter is way too harsh for them. We are on a hillside too, so I'm picking up some tips :-).
Thanks for the tour! Such a beautiful home you guys have created and so productive, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Yay!!! Thanks so much Hannah (and family) for sharing what you're doing and how we can learn from that. Cheers from Launceston!
You must feel so satisfied with how this is all growing according to your plans. There has been so much work involved! It’s looking amazing!

Love the video! Quick question - what was the quick growing hedge plant behind the Mexican sage?
She said it was native hop bush. Dodonaea viscosa
@@nevernevereverland That's the one :-)
