- Installing the new firmware from DMT which gives you 5 saved profiles in the scope and the ability to input your profiles with the scope.
A quick look at some of the changes the new firmware has given.

One feature i would really like is the ability to "design your own reticle"... First time on a range this week, and i was finding the (ballistic adjusted, after hitting the LRF) aim point was making it difficult to see the 1" target... and that was at 25 metres. Or maybe, i shouldn't have gone for the 3-12 version afterall 🤔.
Would probably be able to design a reticle that would make it work though...
Hi, you could send Arken an Email with your thoughts , they do seem to take onboard what customers have to say . Can't say I've notice it myself will have a proper look next time out . Have you tried it with different reticle and colour . what magnification are you using ? I;v not got a 3-12 but what i'v watched/seen on tube the 5-20 has a better picture quality and I don't really shoot below 20M.

In the meantime, I have made some adjustments to the scope settings which seems to be helping things (changed reticle - plain cross, without additional markings, and switched from using "hold over mode" - sorry, can't remember what the other method is called, but it's where the entire reticle is moved, rather than adding a hold over aim point) 🙂

Hi mate, good information as usual, the small cross left side above reticle is that position of your Lrf laser splash?
Hi Keith ,thanks :) yes that's the LRF position , that is the scopes default ,X=0 Y=0, when putting in this update all your zero presents are lost , I just hadn't put my X and Y back in at that stage .

I bought a brand new Arken Zulus 312 at the game fair last weekend, I’ve got it mounted and zeroed, but haven’t got the ballistic figures as yet downloaded.
Would you recommend doing the firmware update before or after I’ve installed the ballistic data.

Morning Phil , think I would do the firmware first ,without the new firmware you wont have the option of the 5 saveable profiles in the scope . When you do the update remember to note down all your zero figures ( X and Y ) the update wipes them clean and just put them back in after update.

@@philipasbury9173 Thanks for saying that I appreciate it 🙂I'm not completely sure on that ,you may need the card in for updating firmware ! but for the rest of the time no, it saves ballistic data in its own memory .Charlie
