Bravo Mr. Ferry. and the BFO. 'The Jazz Age' is really splendid work. Love these 'making of' docos. Fascinating. Could listen to you talk about your work forever. Wonderful to see an artist immersing themselves in exactly what interests them and not succumbing to mindless commercial pressures. Follow your instinct exactly where it leads. Trust it. Bitter-Sweet is also sublime. You have earned the right to Enjoy, free from the pressure to impress or please anybody. We will take pleasure in your pleasure. What you're doing is so magical. Thank you a thousand times. I find this most recent incarnation has so much integrity and intelligence. You're a real marvel.

Absolutely another stroke of genious from Master Bryan. Your greatest fan in Bergen, Norway salutes you again. I really look forward to the album next week!
I think the idea of re-interpreting his classics as 20's era jazz numbers is a great idea, basically a continuation of what he did with "As Time Goes By". Can't wait to get this material.
Bryan, this is going to be a ground-breaking album! No-one has ever done this before and as usual, you're the master innovator! Who else would have a great idea like this? Sure, you're voice isn't on it, but your fans know the songs. As a rocker and ballroom dancer, I know I'm going to love this album. I'm a big fan of this this kind of music and will be pushing it to my friends that own ballroom dance schools, dance hall DJs, and organizers of ballroom dance competitions! They've got swing!
It's a bit painful to hear the master's beautiful magic voice announcing this will be an instrumental album - but what a great project! I'm sure this will be great fun. Looking forward to it :)
Someone needs to do "rubber hose" vintage looking animation to this music. Or release a bunch of classic silent cartoons with songs from this album in back of them.
Actually it has been done before, there was a singer called Peter Skellern that had hits in the 70's at about the same time as Roxy Music. They might have even met as they are both from the north east of England and have stuff in common.
Yeah, OK, he's down with the '20s *sound*, but he has a long way to go to match that music's syncopation and complex chord progressions. Roxy Music were a great band, but Ferry's songs were all pretty simple. What made them interesting was the electronica of Eno and Phil Manzanera. From what I've heard, the Jazz Age versions of his old songs sound like Sesame St. for band. It's Bogus, Man.

I give this project an A+ if nothing more than courage alone. In my opinion, there are at the most 5 rock geniuses from the 70's. He's 1 of them!
That's ladies and gentlemen is one example of the brilliance of Bryan Ferry. Congrats on 40 years of musical enjoyment.
Bryan ferry jazz👍💯🌹🌹🌹🌹❤
Dear Mr. Ferry Why Why Why instrumental?!!!

Both lovers of Jazz and the 1920's!!
It's a bit painful to hear the master's beautiful magic voice announcing this will be an instrumental album - but what a great project! I'm sure this will be great fun. Looking forward to it :)
Mr. Ferry's still got it. Oh yeah, and I'm sure the music will be good on this album, too! :)
Never heard of Peter Skellern. I stand corrected. Thanks for the info!

Quando vc pensa que Bryan já fez tudo, ele vem e mostra que sempre pode inovar. Demais
how did they get it to sound like an old recording
