Just got back today from doing pretty much the same trip in my 458 - but down to Monaco, then Como, the Monza F1 Did route napoleon but also the D900 which is a crazy road. Highly recommended!

Did much of that in June. A fantastic drive. The Musee des Citroen at Castellane is full of original low mileage Post war Citroens and is definitely worth a visit.
Here is a better tip for driving through France. Skip the motorway, just take the b roads through France. It may take a bit more time, but the scenery is unbeatable, they are free and is just as much of a good shape as the motorways. With only minor areas, where there are a few bumps in the road. The only thing you should think about, is the date and the area you're going through. When I returned from Paris to Germany in 2019, I was blocked from going to a fuel station just 500m away by the Tour de France. Not very pleasent, when your range has gone down to 30km and the next available fuel station is 45km away.
