Love that tiny, almost imperceptible nod of respect the Deathmark gives the Ultramarine at the end.

Can we all just point out the fact that this absolute chad of an Ultramarine manages to pop of a shot at a DEATHMARK before the other had a chance to reveal himself.

The Necron won based on deceit. The Astartes reacted as if it was an ambush from multiple opponents. The outcome would have been drastically different if he had realized it was the same opponent attacking from different angles.

Not necessarily, the necron possessed a clear advantage over the marine, it had the ability to maintain distance and fire at essentially any angle, even if the marine had realised what it's opponent was capable of, he would still have to close that distance or get a shot on his target who in this instance outranged him, not to say he couldn't have won the fight, it's entirely possible he could have hit his target or slashed it before it teleported away, but by no means would that have been in the marines odds.

The Astartes knew it was a death mark there not fools also he saw him teleport away when he tried to slash him with his chainsword the sensors on the visor give them massive amounys of intel combined with there massive battle iq he knew what he was faceing

Dunno if it’s an easter egg or not, but after being shot in the back, he falls onto one knee almost identically to how the terminators in space hulk tactics do when they die.

I have a feeling that an ultramarine would be running and moving much faster considering they’re pretty high agility even for their size. I don’t know

  • @Samestro

idk why they insist on making animated primaris have small bodies. They ruined the lore to add bigger marines yet they keep them small and lean in the animations. Astartes are supposed to be hulking and massive, This guy just looks like a tall dude in power armor. They shouldve taken notes from The Astartes animation. Now thats marine proportions

Think they went for a combination of realism and table-top for the look.
