Post Tension System & Backfilling Complete | Ep4 | The ShabinLife
Hey Everyone,
Hope all is well... Here's the next video in the Accessory Bldg. Series. We start the install of our make-shift Post Tension System for the Lumber Base. Very easy and simple DIY design that will hopefully never need to be used, but if so should allow us a bit of adjustment should the frame work ever start to push outwards. Trying to finish up one last video showing the final tension wires as well as plate compacting so that we can move you guys onto the building itself... and I assure you, it's nearly 90% complete, woohoo!. Great job that is a ton of work. My wife and I built a cabin 13 years ago 24 x 36 I had to put 18 inches of three-quarter minus and compact it with a Viber plate. I was 50 then I couldn’t imagine doing that now . Really enjoy everything you’re doing.

Hey Tod, thanks so much!! Between the 24x36 build you did 13 years ago and the house/hunting cabin you're planning this coming year, you'll be a pro!! I'm sure you'll feel it too 🤪...
