I've found on most games like COD if your running any upload speed below 800kbps you going to be lagging, your downloading the enemy's bullets no problem but with slow upload your usually about 5 to 10 shots behind. I've watched it on kill cams where I have clearly put several shots on target on my screen with hit markers and watch the kill cam and not 1 of my bullets registered on them.
due to me being able to understand how a logistic ping works, this only reduces the latency to your internet and might increase your download speed by a little but it's not going to make your ping better since download/upload speed and a ping are 2 different things. sure they might have a lot in common but it's not the same. for some people it might work but for the most it probably wont.

I would recommend trying cloud flare it's 1.1.1.1 also since internet is based mostly on geographic location, it is most likely that. As a last resort you could always set up a wired connection it can cut speeds in half. So just do some research on wired connections and see if it is possible for you.

ping is usually lets say your in america but the game your connected to is a region in europe or russia the ping takes longer to reach you through your network so you really want region in your general area

It's always a good idea to test your connections multiple times, also a third party internet test is good for comparison. Here's one I found to be pretty accurate www.speedtest.net/ If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
I was running at 22mbps before doing this. After using this method, it made my speed run at 15mbps (both speeds are download speeds). Anything I can do to improve or fix this?
1) move your router into the same room as PS4, 2) make sure googles DNS server is optimized in your region, if not use a different DNS server, cloud flare for example is 1.1.1.1 3) LAN cables are known to chop ping in half, might be worth the investment. 4) test speeds multiple times for most accurate results 5) some games unfortunately just don't work great (EX: Rocket league, war zone, Fortnite, etc.) so perfection is usually unreachable, especially if you live in a more rural location. 6) I hope this helped, if you have any more questions, please let me know!

Works amazingly and if ur worried about getting your acct hacked Thu the google dns server just set up two factor authentication on ur game system it’ll make it harder for the hackers to get ypur stuff

My wifi was kinda good from before. But download speed went from 345mbps to way over 400mbps! Upload went from 122mbps to 243mbps. I used to google thing 8.8.8.8. I was like "ehh, I doubt this works" but it really did. 👍from me!

That is very strange is there anything you can think of that might have done that? Maybe you moved your router or ps4 to a different room, different provider, more devices in the house could all be big factors
if you followed the instructions on the video, I would say there is possibly a problem with your router, or your actual internet is not sufficient. there are a lot of speed tests I will leave a link to one that you can follow www.speedtest.net/

If you live in CA, I would still highly recommend googles DNS server, which was show in the video. And its no problem at all, hope this helped.
