You don't need to worry about textures looking the same. It is not like there is only one SD checkpoint out there, and developers might even train their own SD checkpoint. If I can do it on a gaming computer in a few days, I'm sure a game studio would have the hardware to train one.

3:45 OR they pay the artist to create the style train a set of Check points and Loras and let the AIs take care of the boring stuff so that the artists can focus more on the details.
OR you know have Indies do the same and Save A LOT of time and money on those repetitive tasks.
A good example of a time and money saver and a way to actually help with the games style consistency is taking a collection of textures from different art styles from realistic to hand drawn and use AI and controlnet to set them into the desired art style of the game.
Instead of having to do it manually in Gimp or Photoshop.

[Roll Eyes] Ok, I am happy they're doing it, I shouldn't say anything biting or sharp or spiteful when they're doing what I want, but this is a result of competition from AMD. Embracing the ideas and philosophy of free and open source software, is completely the opposite of how Jensen and his people think. They're doing this because AMD are doing it and it works. This is an advert for competition. And Open Source.

Watch Nvidia literally live off of the VRAM performance boost on their lower and mid tier graphics cards lol. 15-20% gen on gen increase for 100 more dollars and smaller or still small dies. Can't wait. More VRAM and smaller memory buses to stay.

Well-done Nvidia, finally working with the consumer and open sourcing tech for all to use. This is great because people holding breath for remasters of games with the right know how can bring the game closer to current standards. I wonder if eventually we will be able to use this tech to enhance old videos

Poor PC gaming: archeogaming gimmicks, skyrocketing prices, milking companies... Just go Playstation and get rid of all this crap.

I'm unbiased. I buy whoever has the best product for price. If Nvidia shapes up in the next few years, I might switch back

      Why limit yourself?
Why not go for the most powerful product instead of going for bang for the buck?
If you can save up $500/$800 for a GPU, you can save up $1,600 for a GPU.
You don't have to like the prices but you do get what you pay for.
A passionate gamer owes it to themselves to buy the most powerful hardware so they can have the best experience currently possible.
