Really does make it a lot easier to tell that Magalor is suffering in the second phase, I mean it can't be a coincidence that it looks like the first phase upside down
Edit: just read the picture, definitely meant to depict him suffering
Yeah! That's why I adore this design so much.. sure, it's too complicated compared to the final design but I think each has their own charm and merits

Dude,this is a pretty badass concept
It maintains the "Hellspawn" nature of the original,but the Master Crown looks a lot more terrifying
Also,notice how Magolor's eyes look angry and menacing,but then when you flip it upside down they look sad,almost as if Magolor is regretting his decision
This is truly an epic design,however I think Magolor Soul's original design is perfect the way it is,no need to change it
Most of Magolor's unused designs are worthy to be recycled imo (And Nesp and Haltmann's design seems to be based on one of them each!)
The eye is my favorite part of the design too, and It's easy to notice since the design is basically flipped version of Phase 1. I'd like to give them a bonus point for that!
I agree that it cannot top the Soul design, but in terms of a base design in the main mode, I think this one looks better. So I'd rank the designs..

2)is there any mod for Planet Robobot that replaces Star Dream with his original design? Because 1 of them in particular resembles Zero 2 and I don't see why they decided to scrap it
1) I think Haltmann resembles the old-man design and Nesp resembles the girly design, kinda

@@shreddedbagelwabiwabo8342 I did It because I saw the horns from the original phase one are flipped upside down and I noticed that the whole body was upside down entirely as well by looking closely.

Honestly I like more the final design, but that beta design is so amazing, looks way more natural than the final one when it comes from the fact that the Master Crown is taking possession of Magolor in the final phase.
This is implied even more in the second phase in magolor souls true arena battle in RTD deluxe as magolor throws you an apple, almost as if he WANTS you to beat him. That’s the last thing magolor does before the master crown absorbs his body leaving only the mouth eye remaining. AND WHAT MAKES IT WORSE? YOU CAN HEAR MAGOLOR CALLING FOR HELP IN THE MUSIC.

I find it interesting that this design also has some aspects of dark matter, as in the swordsman look.
Ya know now that I think about it, in the 2nd phase of ex Magolor it says Magolor isn’t in control so I assume this mods meaning is that the crown is wearing Magolor
Maybe, and also, if you flip the design upside-down, you can see that Magolor's eyes are actually sad
It's also based on a piece of concept art from HAL.
I really think that whatever True True Arena they do for the Magolor Epilogue bosses in the remake will have the very last secret boss be an even harder Magolor Soul except it'll be something like this. Not design wise, but I mean like the Master Crown itself taking a form without Magolor.

My best bet is the design with EX form color palettes. I think coloring it all black like the Soul form won't look good as the original.

My idela strongest variant of Magolor is more of the crown having even more menancing horns and body radiating void powers with Magolor MX having 4 arms for more chaos... Also with a 4th eye being the Master Crown's corrupted gem

It's interesting seeing this concept art being animated like this. I still prefer the final design because it looks creepy with him simultaneously smiling and glaring at you. Plus, this concept art looks goofy because it's literally just Magolor but upside down.

While I do love this design, there are possible lore reasons as to why they ended up with the final design like the crown possibly having dark matter imbued in it or just the fact that souls tend to be borbs in the series.
No souls are borbs in the series, I'm not sure where that came from and the Master Crown definitely has a mind of its own. I really don't think it has anything to do with Dark Matter as eyes in the Kirby series are in general used to depict evil.
@@chrange9714 I dunno man, that dark aura mixed with the distinctive singular red eye seems very telling to me. I do of course see your point in this matter but it's still an interesting thought to ponder. Mayhaps we'll learn more in Reeturn to Dreamland Deluxe
@@eaglehood224 Almost every Kirby villain has had a dark aura and eyes associated with them. Sectonia, Star Dream, even Fecto Elfilis and they all have no ties to with Dark Matter. Just for me it takes more than a dark aura and single red eye to hint at Dark Matter or Zero, especially in the Master Crown's case as it's heavily hinted that it has its own mind. That limitless power and hunger within, something only Landia could control and keep at bay while with Magolor it slowly consumed him and took over. I honestly think that in whatever True Arena Deluxe they do for the Magolor Epilogue bosses, the final boss of it will be straight up the Master Crown in a form all on its own without Magolor. But I get your point too and who knows, maybe like you said we'll learn more in the remake. They may hint at it being something with Dark Matter more.
