    Mate big props on really nice looking bar work, got me wanting to work on this type of stuff broaden my skills and knowledge, lots of maths going on there lol looks awesome works well

    5 stud hub conversion on the 80 is a nice easy way to have big axle studs and wheel studs to stop them snapping , classic crusier things

    Awesome vid man, you've given me some motivation to get some work done on mine, I'd be keen to see a vid on gutter sliders/ roof sliders if your gonna put some on this truck

      Thanks mate. This will definitely be getting gutter bars and a roof rack. But there’s 2 spots in the gutter that need repairing before I put them on. So the video won’t be out for another couple months. Cheers

    Awesome work mate keep it up! Don't skip on the fine details I'm learning a lot I had a crack at bar work on my gu. not bad for a first attempt but definitely going to re do it at one stage so all this is helping.

    Wurth do some mint tap sets that have nice small shanks fit in the drills sweet as and the 3 steps for each size make it prety fast and less chance of jamming 👌👌

    Can't weld to the chassis in NZ .we have to clamp it into place which is even more work

      Technically you can’t here either unless it’s under the guidance of an engineer and it gets certified. I had clamp on style before these ones and they are so much easier haha!

      It’s a red winch mate. No idea how many pound, would be somewhere around 8000 depending on gearing and voltage input. Cheers mate

      Thanks mate! I use crow cam stuff in mine. Genuine valve stem seals and head gasket.

    If the die on the JD says say 167, do you put your tube 167mm before the bend at the start of the die?

      Hey mate, just search camburg joiners on eBay or google, they may also be called roll cage joiners.

    Is he changing the hubs just to suit those wheels or is there some other benefit?

      Changed hubs so he had to buy 5 stud wheels. There are benefits to going 79 hubs but I don’t know them hahaha!

    Howdy fulla love the tube bendin! Mint work.... i really enjoy watch!! Love learn new ways of mountin sliders and things like that. im convertin mi tb42 carby to efi.... im just strugglin to find info on ls1 coils and how to wire them up.... do they go directly to the my helteck ecu?? Or do i need a tb42 efi dizzy??? Could you do a 5min vid on how yours is setup?

      Hey mate, thanks for checking it out!
      You need an ecu that supports direct fire ignition, in the ls1 coil there’s 4 wires, 2 are earths, 1 is a signal from the ecu and one is 12v power. Use the positive from your coil and chain it together for the 12v, link the 2 earths together and put them to a good earth point, and then the signal goes straight into the ecu. You will need the efi dizzy for the cam angle sensor for the ecu.
