Jarvis is such a down to earth bloke...i wish more celebrities were like this!
I remember buying the album I was only 15 or 16 then.
This song is so calming even tho it delivers rather a dark message. The magic of Jarvis I guess.
Where are the calming pop/rock songs nowadays, seems everything is so hurried lately it makes me nervous.
I don't know if it's even funnier that they got a completely humourless man to interview Jarvis Cocker and not laugh at anything he says because anyone else would
Still that's much preferable to a bubbly interviewer who force-laughs at anything to fill the silence.
Sad and beautiful song, and when the singer / songwritter is a nice guy like Jarvis, it gets better to ears and soul.
