I’ve loved your recent voiceover videos. Something about them is so therapeutic and a refreshing contrast to a lot of social media. I also really appreciate your posture of humility while still sharing what you’ve learned. It’s obvious you truly want to see positive change in the world, not just grow your own personal following.
so on point Immy. I also lost a friend to suicide in the winter..and recently, another friend to covid. You're right when you say "I must have grown stronger", you have. My prayer is that these experiences would soften us, and not harden us, and increase our love.

Why has this video made me so emotional? actually crying,, I'm finding it tough right now as we come out of lockdown and I watch other people recover and resume their lives while mine just stays the same. It's really making me see the sad reality of my life. Your content is honest and open in a way most on this platform are not. Never apologise or doubt the worth of you and your channel. It's helped me and I'm sure others feel less alone. PS like 500 was me for Ralphie xx
I was very moved by this video. Your words were completely honest and heartfelt. I’m a Canadian RN working in these awful times of healthcare and only recently recognized I was completely burnt out from working in the Emergency room. So I took some advice from your channel and learnt to slow down, regroup and realize I need to look after myself in order to continue to care for others. I took a different nursing position in surgery, where I a feel like myself again. So don’t ever think your not making a difference with this last year of video content, cause you are. Your inspiring, thoughtful and not afraid to show how you feel. It very much makes me feel like I’m not alone in my thoughts and feelings of world changes and lockdowns. Your a good human😘
Gardening saved me years ago. It connect me to nature and myself in subtle, non-demanding way, and now i cant imagine a life without it :) happy you found your way there too!
I love your voiceover videos- somehow no matter what you talk about, the calm and beautiful b-roll footage juxtaposes perfectly to enhance your overall message and tone
I think the fact that you have adapted this channel alongside everything that’s happening is why it’s so nice watching for me personally! You’re still inspiring us, just in a different way! It’s much more organic, real. I need the calm, the day-to-day, the reflection - everyone does right now. The way you create content is also definitely sustainable in that you’re not projecting something you think we want to see and then burning out like some YTers do. Do it for you! I super appreciate the safe space you create here for us, zero drama and total understanding! :) I can’t wait to see the videos of the future and how this evolves yet again! Also, from someone who spent 9 years in an LDR, you got this!
I love seeing your every day life, gardening, "hanging out" with you while cooking or eating (or drinking tea), journaling, and just walking in nature. I definitely feel that your channel has become much more personal and I love that. I sometimes felt that I couldn't get to your level of sustainability and low waste living, so I was a bit sad and frustrated when I watched certain videos. For some reason, now I feel like I'm not comparing my journey to yours as much because of how you're filming your videos and the content that you're sharing. I hope that makes sense. You always inspire and motivate me and I thank you so so much. Many hugs and much love :) xoxo (P.S. I'll be excited to see your move back to London and all that happens after that!)
A relaxed attitude lengthens a person’s life... the challenge is to get there... to arrive at, and to stay with that relaxed attitude. BUT... I have found it here with you and this community. Sharing in your content brings me peace, knowledge, inspiration, clarity of thought and self-awareness. I am not here to be “better than you” or anybody else... I am here to grow, to learn, to share, and to hangout with really cool like-minded people... and for this, I cannot thank-you enough!! I sometimes question whether one can express love and happiness online... but, after much thought... my answer is YES, and I want to say how much I appreciate and love you for this. PS - big Hello to Immy’s Mom & Dad... nice to see you, and you should be so very, very proud!! 🥰🌸💜🌿
I agree with your comments about community / building a community-that feels more intentional and real than other videos which can come off as a “lecture” or “how to”-when I taught public speaking and communication I tried to make my classroom environment one of sharing because communication is a life skill we all have varying experiences of, right? Same with sustainability-sharing what you do and how you approach it makes more sense than “this is how to do it”, right? And that approach is what builds community/a sense of togetherness. On a separate note, I adore the game of “if we were together now, what would we be doing”-my heart melts. :)

You have been one of my most favorite Zero Waste youTubers! I have been watching you for at least 2 years I think. And what you have been doing lately with the gardening, bread making pickling, etc. I have been amazed no one else in this category topically hasn’t presented this very realistic side. I have enjoyed all the personal layers you have built into all of it as well, including the people in your life. And the inspiring steps you work at to keep yourself growing and self evaluations, etc. May Love surround you and continue to motivate your steps in and through your life.
please keep up the gardening content!! it’s my current favorite content of yours, but everything is absolutely lovely. I’ve been loving your new style of filming/editing
I came for the sustainability tips and stayed for the calming videos that remind me to take life one day at a time and not let my eco-anxiety (or overall anxiety) take over. To me, your channel is a safe space with a community of like minded people, simply focused on bettering ourselves for our health and that of the planet ✌️ Thank you for your continued hard work ❤️
I love the honesty of this! I loved your point on all of us learning from one another. I've only recently started to realise how a zero waste lifestyle is a community effort - it's very uplifting!
Just wanna say thank you for your openness and honesty! It really does make a big difference when you take us with you in the walks your mind takes. Thank you for letting us walk with u and being such a lovely light! Hope your moving works all out and you guys can finally move in together. My fingers are crossed! Sending you love from Germany ☀️💛🌻
Whatever content you put out the most important thing is to be true to yourself, what you like and don't like. Don't look at us. Your followers might change over time, but you will remain YOU. Do what you enjoy doing the most and those who align with your values will join and those who don't will fall off. I personally love your cooking and gardening videos, and especially meal prep videos. They are so simple and relaxing. Just great! I like that your content is varied - even though you might not think it is.
I'm not usually a commenter, but since you have doubts I can't resist popping in here to say that I personally love your new video approach. Your channel was first recommended to me pre-/early pandemic, I watched a few videos and they just weren't my cup of tea. I rediscovered you in mid- to late-2020 after you took this new direction and am absolutely loving your content. Whatever you make next, I'll be watching!
I love your gardening videos but also your cooking ones. You're getting so good at it 🥰 I also appreciate you sharing and opening up in these trying times ❤️
Your videos have been a comfort for me this last year. Being in lock down here in the US has made me question a lot about myself too and it is nice to know someone feels the same! Your garden is looking so beautiful!
Just one more comment to say how much I appreciate you creating these videos. I enjoy your content very much and I’ve never found it boring. Sometimes I get discouraged about sustainability, and I feel like it’s pointless work, but you’ve inspired me to get back on track more than once. 🙂
I've been loving your voice-over videos and find them very relaxing and inspiring. The kitchen and garden can be so therapeutic and I'm looking forward to seeing your little seedlings turn into wonderful, fresh ingredients to harvest. I can so relate to needing a reset to realign with values. Some areas of my life had to change over the past year due to lockdown but I've also found other little ways to still work on self improvement and it's great to see that you have too. Huw Richards has a fantastic gardening channel if you haven't already discovered him.
I started watching your channel only about a month ago and I love seeing you garden and cook and read and drink coffee and live a beautiful, simple and peaceful life:) it is inspiring:) thank you for sharing!
I love your garden & cooking content. I've been cooking for years, but there is so much to learn about plant-based cooking. This past year I've been trying to garden and grow more, so your content is very helpful and relatable :) Stay safe and sending you peaceful & happy vibes xo
A lot of what you shared hits home with me too, it's been a sad year overall, it has. But while staying home has had it's downs, it's also had it's ups. It introduced me to you and people like you who are so willing and caring enough to share with the world what you know to be true and helpful. Thank you for sharing when you're down, because we don't feel so all alone in it. Be well.
You have inspired me to move from the safety of years of perennial flower gardening into veggie/fruit gardening. No need to continue to envy other people's evolving gorgeous yards. To instead bask in the slow process of taking my own yard to the next level. To take time to learn, plan, build, grow and make mistakes. Taking mindful pleasure in the whole process. And to push for reusing rather than buying new - some of that is due to your influence too. So thank you. Honestly.
I love the gardening content and I think it’s so relevant to sustainable living. And even just hanging round the house/ daily life I really enjoy. Keep doing what your doing ☺️
I'm also finding myself in a reflective period now when my summer holiday is transitioning into university life again. I'm questioning every day habits, relations and activism. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Hugs!
Thank you so much for opening up Immy! Your videos have been so helpful for me during this entire year for me. They bring me so much comfort and help me calm down and relax while also thinking about other things like sustainability, food prep, personal growth and gardening rather than continuing covid anxiety. I appreciate you sharing your life and struggles with us sooooo very much. I’ve been very thankful for your content this year!
I feel this too Sarah... appreciation, comfort, calmness, learning, and growth... I too am thankful for Immy, for her amazing content, and for this comment section and cool people like you. I enjoyed reading your words this morning, thank-you for sharing... and have a great rest of your weekend 💜🌿🥰
I feel like you’ve always been great with content and being relatable. C*vd forced a lot of people to reevaluate their waste, their carbon foot print and their finances. Which leads me to why your videos triggered a change or an eye opener that they felt wasn’t there before or they’re farther along in their sustainable / vegan journey. Either way we’re glad you’re still going.
Honestly, I have noticed the change in your content, but it seems somehow more meaningful, relatable, and warm. I get more excited seeing you've posted
Hi Immy I’ve been following you for ages and you always calm me. So sorry about your friend, it’s a dreadful time. I’m dealing with these uncertain times the same as you eg. cooking, gardening more. I’m reading about the past and how people coped. Hope peace resumes in our world. Peace 🧚🏻♀️
Your videos have been such a gift, especially these more recent series. They are both soothing, which is so needed in this time, and also so creatively inspiring. Thank you for that.
Your garden is lovely and dinner looks delicious ! You do a great job of constantly providing tips and inspiration, all with such a pleasant attitude and beautiful background. If I were you, I wouldn't change a single thing.💜🌱💜
I’ve really been enjoying your new direction of content. Everything is so stressful and exhausting but a calm cooking or gardening video is a nice break in the stress. Your calm soothing voiceover, peaceful kitchen and garden, it’s really been a balm for the soul.
Just do everything for your heart amd what comes from heart sits on audience heart too! And don’t worry about what people like them or not! You are doing great!
Don't worry about your content. It is getting deeper and honest and that is what I really like. Despite of me I think that there are enough other souls out there which are going through the same and will feel linked with you and your "new" content. You will find your followers and people who adore your content. I do ;-) We are going through the same shit...some might lost loved ones, some might lost their job and any perspective. I find myself struggling with many so called friends turning into a very delicate political direction here in Germany and it sometimes scares the shit out of me how some peoples mindset shifts into that direction in general. But it helps to see that there are also people connecting like here. With brave hearts and visions on their beautiful minds.
This was exactly what I needed today! Thanks for your honesty and openness, Immy. It makes the pandemic fatigue & self-positionality questions a little bit easier to grapple with. Sending love from Canada!
Thank you so much for been so open. You’ve found words for things I felt over this pandemic and its consequences but didt’n know how to express. On a different note, a close friend of mine from school has been diagnosed cancer, so I appretiate people opening up about grief and dealing with difficult emotions. I’ve been trying to accept the news since he told me in March but am still assuming that just about anyone close to me could very soon be gone. And on yet another very different note, you’ve motivated me to grow a garden in my appartment, see how that goes.
I loved your videos this year and this one that kind of focused on reminiscing really moved me. I am a highly sensitive person and your content always allows me to relax after being bombarded with stimuli for the whole day.
I love all the changes that you have made to your channel and how your are being constructive and learning new, very valuable skills. And being vulnerable and sharing how you deal with how you deal with stress and worry, keep it up and know that you are helping all of us so much. We love you even tho we don’t know each other..Thank you for doing what you do.
Don’t beat yourself up. You are doing your best. I love your videos they are honest and real. I can see your growth and it’s a beautiful thing. Take care x
Love your videos. I just want to thank you with all my heart. I lost my friend this week. She was ill few years and covid took her away in Monday. I was on funeral in Wednesday. This was... heartbreaking. I can't imagine what her mother feels. You videos help me to calm down, to get myself together. Not only now, but through all protests and violence that are happening in my home country since last summer (Belarus) and even before, before lockdown, before everything. I watched your videos to calm down when I moved to another country few years ago and couldn't find a job. So, thank you.
I am sorry for your loss... it is such a hard thing! I have lost several friends and also my Mom during this past year. It is really hard, and I try to see how much enjoyment, happiness, and learning these people brought to me... how much they enriched my life... and how I am a better person for the giving relationship that they shared with me. It is hard not to dwell on the loss or to be overcome by the sadness of their absence. It is hard to fill the emptiness, but our loved ones would want us to move on and to be thankful for the life that we have. I see in the news what is happening in your country, and I hope that you are safe and doing OK. Please know that others in this community feel your loss and are here in support. Thanks for sharing your raw and honest feelings here in this comment. This time will not last forever... I wish you peace and calmness, and a mending heart 🥰💜🌿

This was such a moving video, you self-reflect so articulately and beautifully. When my sister moved from the U.K. to Australia (pre-pandemic, thankfully) she had that same anxious thought about something terrible happening before we got to reunite. Sadly it feels like so often our anxious minds can’t let us freely hope for happy futures we deserve. I’ve looked forward to your videos so much this past year and have loved the different directions your content have gone in ❤️
Ao glad to know i'm not alone, but sorry to hear your sister had those same feelings! It really is the worst. Thank you for your kind words and feedback it means a lot xx
Love that you were comfortable enough to open up 💕 and don’t worry so much about your content and what we’ll like. I don’t know about the rest of the community but I personally would watch you do anything 😂💕 You’re always so calming and inspiring
Honestly I've been watching your videos more for the past year and it was so nice to see you change, open up and do whatever you felt like doing. It was refreshing and calming. I think even if you move back to london having the focus of your videos be about who you are and the way you tackle sustainability, changes in living, changes in mindset/views, learning new things and incorporating thigs would be the best no matter the 'content' per say. Or maybe that itself is the content lol nvm. I think the way ur living ur lifestyle is similar to me so maybe thats why i relate to it more but I thought the way ur different videos just keep growing naturally with u is the best. So dont worry, we enoy it :)
Even if this is not really advice but your own reflections, I really needed to hear it. Moving for uni had me living without a garden or at least unused space to hijack for the first time and getting access to the dorm roof was so vital to my mental health. On another note, you cutting up the cauliflower leaves was kind of an eye opener, I always use the stalk but even though at home the leaves were used too, I have a texture problem which makes it impossible to eat them braised whole. Such a small and obvious thing to cut them up :)
You sad that you were thinking that the videos may be boring to us, NO. I love them, so calm, inspiring, relax it's like a conversation that's so interesting for me and I can't have it enough. Keep doing it girl on the way that you think you should because this is beautiful! We are all together in this, sending you a lot of love from Serbia.😊🙏🙏💚💚💚💚💚
Immy, your videos have been a bright spot in the quite dark space the past year has been. They've helped me stay sane and feel connected. Thank you for making such beautiful, informative and honest videos. Please keep going, a lot of us will still be here. xx
Hi! I've been watching your videos for a long time and this shift to "more personal" content is so inspiring, refresing and relatable! I love your meal prep and cooking videos, I enjoy gardening and sprouting content but most of all I love your hiking, camping and great outdoors adventures. I love to do these myself and your videos always remind me that there id something exciting to look forward to, even though we migt not be allowed to travel abroad. Thank you! Greetings from Prague! :)
This might sound cliché but, i believe, if you your content revolves around the things that you love and enjoy doing, we won't really mind what exactly it is about. So, even if I personally am not a very garden inclined person (honestly, everything dies on my hands), I quite enjoy watching you enjoy yourself while gardening and tending to your plants. Try not to worry too much about the quantity or even the subject of the videos, but rather the quality of time that you spend while creating them.

Thanks so much for being so real and so genuine. You’re a cool person and I enjoy seeing you here in the comments... I look forward to hearing (reading) what you have to say. 😃
I've really just begun my sustainability journey since lock down, and it's because of channels like yours. I though I was trying before, and I was to some extent, but I've learned so much over the past year about what I can really do to help the planet. You're very inspiring, and calming, for us with busy, worrying minds.
Your videos give me this kind of serenity and definitely bring value to my life. You don't need to worry people will get bored with them, cause they won't. You're just yourself. There's no lie in what you say and do. Wish there were more people like You. ♥️
I love your videos, all of them are really pleasant to watch, either if you are up in front of the camera, on your voice on images, which I particullarly like. I think your voice is soothing, and everything you share here contributes to my personal growth.. it's been a particularly difficult time in everybody's lifes... your videos just help me get through, in a positive and inspiring way!! thank you

I enjoy your content, your honesty on your journey. I am melting down old candles to make more, drinking out of a glass jar. These are not things I would have done last year. Li k down has been difficult but a great time to really think about what I find important and how to change. You gave definitely helped me in my change to more a more sustainable eco-friendly life style. I live the garden, the chickens, and learning new things. Still haven't lear6to live cooking!

I came for the sustainability tips and stayed for the calming videos that remind me to take life one day at a time and not let my eco-anxiety (or overall anxiety) take over. To me, your channel is a safe space with a community of like minded people, simply focused on bettering ourselves for our health and that of the planet ✌️
Thank you for your continued hard work ❤️
I love the honesty of this! I loved your point on all of us learning from one another. I've only recently started to realise how a zero waste lifestyle is a community effort - it's very uplifting!
100% community!! thank youu xx
I love this deep level of introspection. Your soul shines through.
For me, one of your most important videos. Deep, humble, intimate. Thanks and greetings from Prague, CZ.
This past year I've been trying to garden and grow more, so your content is very helpful and relatable :)
Stay safe and sending you peaceful & happy vibes xo
This means a great deal to me Sarah, thank youu xx
Another lovely video Immy. We are here for whatever you create, sending love from the states ❤️❤️❤️
oh immy. so grateful you are here sharing your stories. i can’t wait to see how things continue to evolve for you
All is well. You are doing a great job. Thank you for your vulnerability. Take care.
I watch your content because I really like YOU. It's super interesting to see how you continue to share on this platform. Totally here for this.
I've loved your recent videos. In all honesty, I'd stopped watching last year but started up again and am so glad I did.
Don't worry about your content. It is getting deeper and honest and that is what I really like. Despite of me I think that there are enough other souls out there which are going through the same and will feel linked with you and your "new" content. You will find your followers and people who adore your content. I do ;-)
We are going through the same shit...some might lost loved ones, some might lost their job and any perspective. I find myself struggling with many so called friends turning into a very delicate political direction here in Germany and it sometimes scares the shit out of me how some peoples mindset shifts into that direction in general. But it helps to see that there are also people connecting like here. With brave hearts and visions on their beautiful minds.
I always enjoy watching your ever evolving sustainable content!
This was exactly what I needed today! Thanks for your honesty and openness, Immy. It makes the pandemic fatigue & self-positionality questions a little bit easier to grapple with. Sending love from Canada!
Beautiful video. Helping me in my sadness. Thank you.
You showing your vulnerability in your videos makes them all so deep and personal and powerful. I love it so much!
Take care x
I'm so happy I found your channel! Thank you for this content.
I'd like to say right back at you... just know that YOU'RE appreciated, because you really REALLY are!! 💜
@@marycharlebois6627 thank you so much for your story and your words. I am ok, I think. I believe that somehow sometime everything will be ok. For all of us.
⬜❤️⬜
@@volhan.p.9722 Sending you a lot of love and virtual hugs! It makes me feel very very happy that I can create a little space for you here that helps in a small way xx
@@SustainablyVegan Thank you.
@@volhan.p.9722 You’re right... everything will eventually be OK, strength will help us to move onward. It will be so nice when this is all in our rear view mirror.
I love the reflective honesty, thank you.
I absolutely loved this video, very soothing and calming thank you so much xxx
Love that you were comfortable enough to open up 💕 and don’t worry so much about your content and what we’ll like. I don’t know about the rest of the community but I personally would watch you do anything 😂💕 You’re always so calming and inspiring
I think we all just need a big hug! Love your videos Immy!
ah yes! Hugs all round would be ideal xx
Love learning about seasonal cooking for the UK. Definitely do more 😀😀😀
Honestly I've been watching your videos more for the past year and it was so nice to see you change, open up and do whatever you felt like doing.
I love your gardening content! Just wanted to let you know :) Have a beautiful day
I love listening to you talking about your own journey. Not only is it relabel but also encouraging to go mindfully into a world. 🌀
thank u for sharing ur life with us and being an inspiration to so many
You sad that you were thinking that the videos may be boring to us, NO.
Love your interior hat!
Eduardo... I love your words and your sentiment. I agree with you so much, and I just wanted to tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your comments over the past little while. Thanks so much for being so real and so genuine. You’re a cool person and I enjoy seeing you here in the comments... I look forward to hearing (reading) what you have to say. 😃
@@marycharlebois6627 Oh that's very nice of you to say! Thank you
I always appreciate you and your comments, you're incredibly kind and thoughtful and I truly appreciate you xx thank you
your content is wonderful always the best days for me when you've put a new video out, so inspiring and soothing to watch love the voice overs.
We have all grown so much this past year. And, yes, you have been part of the influences in my growth here near Boston, Massachusetts. Thanks so much!
I've really just begun my sustainability journey since lock down, and it's because of channels like yours. I though I was trying before, and I was to some extent, but I've learned so much over the past year about what I can really do to help the planet. You're very inspiring, and calming, for us with busy, worrying minds.
Greetings from Canada xxx....love your content and love the voice over.....so therapeutic 😌....be well my friend 💗
Your videos give me this kind of serenity and definitely bring value to my life. You don't need to worry people will get bored with them, cause they won't. You're just yourself. There's no lie in what you say and do. Wish there were more people like You. ♥️
❤❤❤ this makes me happy, thank you
How nice to see your parents in the video!😊
I love your videos, all of them are really pleasant to watch, either if you are up in front of the camera, on your voice on images, which I particullarly like. I think your voice is soothing, and everything you share here contributes to my personal growth.. it's been a particularly difficult time in everybody's lifes... your videos just help me get through, in a positive and inspiring way!! thank you
I,m so sorry about your friend and your videos are not boring I've been watching you for awhile and you are doing great I especially like when you grow the sprouts and the garden never mind about other people and what they say you do you take care of yourself❤️🙋
Thank you for opening up Immy. I hope that everything in your life works out in the way you hope❤
Thank you Immy for sharing yourself and your life with us
Never doubt. LOVE your content!
Sending out a virtual hug
