      Some people are racist because either they don't know you or have had a bad experience with one so they applied to all, and of course some (doesn't matter what natationally) are just plain racist no matter what. It's not right, but it is what it is. Today's media didn't help a whole lot either. Personally, I just think they are the author of fear and likes to put people on the edge. My mother fits in this category at first, but she felt otherwise after getting to know them personally. In her defense, I think she's more afraid than racist, if that make sense. Now she has a couple of half black grandchildrens and love them to dead. Lol

    Yes Zoe please go to Angkor Wat if you can. I have been Training the last 12 years in a Martial Art called Kun Khmer from Cambodia. My teacher who is Cambodian is one of the people who had to escape from the war through the refugee camps of Thailand in the 70's. I'm hoping to Visit Cambodia next year. I love all the information I've been getting from your channel. This is a great interview. As far as the judgment of black people it's a lot more more nuances to this it's not just about Nigerians as I've learned from my Cambodian Martial arts teacher. They are not all like that some have an affinity to us because of some similar experiences. Many people don't know that Thai's and Khmer's have the same historical roots from the Khmer civilization. Some Thai's don't get along with Cambodian's (khmer's) and the feeling between both cultures is mutual >>>>for some

    Brother Zoe, Thank You so much for your insight to Cambodia. I’ve been to Thailand several times. Two of the times I crossed over to Cambodia only to return back the same time just to get an extension on my visa. I really wanted to explore Cambodia but because of an unfortunate event that a good friend of mine died while he was in Columbia, I have been hesitant about Solo travel at my age. I’m not making a comparison of Cambodia to Columbia, it’s just my age and my present up and down Health recently has caused me to pause traveling alone not knowing anyone in the area in case I need help. The lady you interviewed was such a gracious woman and it’s women in particular and people in Asia like her confirms for me that you can have a great time throughout areas of Asia being a Black Man. Seeing this interview has motivated me even more and as soon as I find a willing friend or someone cool who I can travel along with I will go. Keep the good info flowing my Brother. I’m trying to subscribe to your channel now.

    Good interview and interesting story behind her life. The first time I ever went to Cambodia back in 2010. I was amazed at the amount of money they had and the type of vehicles they were driving. It’s definitely eye opening being raised in America. Like some of them seem to have better lives than we lived. After that visit my mentality changed. Media and how other countries are betrayed on television aren’t always true to actually visiting and seeing for your own two eyes.

    That's one thing I noticed about some Cambodian women, some of them are ambitious and talented. That's very attractive and important in a partner. Also, I feel like in most of Asia in my experience, the majority of the people would be considered as not caring so much for black people over white, especially if they're from Africa. The women in Asia can be more open minded though but most countries in Asia don't even consider black women as beautiful I've noticed, even dark skinned Indian and Pakistan men. I've done experiments on this, where I'll show them my beautiful black fiancé from Cameroon and they say nothing but as soon as I show them my ex Vietnamese girl who is also beautiful they immediately say she's beautiful and etc. A lot of men of other races consider anything outside of black women as beautiful. It's a sad reality but even also for us as black men. I know a female in Thailand that I deal with and she just recently said she like black men because we're aren't handsome and not too many women will be interested in us compared to white men and other handsome men. So she considers everything outside of black men as handsome, it was seriously offensive but it was her harsh opinion and you have to know she's not the only one thinking that way about us. I've been the first black guy for most Asian women I've dealt with though, so they really don't even know us. Crazily enough, white people don't even believe what they've brainwashed the world to believe in. Since I've left America, I've had pretty white women coming on to me without me showing any interest in them from Swedish to white South African and one just came on to me last night.

    Do Cambodians not like black people? It's very simple to answer this one. Cambodian people do or don't like black people because they are black. To understand this matter, you must understand the make up of the community. There are classes within Cambodian community. People who farm or rice growing have dark skin because they work in the sun etc. They are poor who work hard to support their family. Yet, they just can't find their way out of poverty. On the other hand, people who have lighter skin tend to have money. They own businesses. Most of them have a lot of things to do with poor people. Now, let's steer to another direction before we come back to this matter. There weren't many black foreigners come to Cambodia many years ago. Cambodians could only relate black people to those Cambodian dark skin. Yes, that was stereotyping. When the UN peace keeping force came to Cambodia, many African soldiers had put bad impression. Many Cambodian people today are not old enough to know how it was many many years ago. A lot started their lives around the UN peacekeeping time. I'm going to put at that because I know very little about Cambodians in this new era.

  • @kheangchhuoy8488

    Cambodian people don't hate black people period. Cambodian have this thing stuck in their head that if you have a lighter skin tone they treate you well and respect you more than dark skins people, even their own kind if they have dark skins they tend to look down on them and treated them as a less valuable person. This is why you see Cambodian people especially woman they always buy lays and lotion to try lighten their skins. Cambodian people needs to be educate about this dark skins versus light skins thing.

The more you make people think that the unattractive women of other communities will easily be able to get with a Black men then the more we will be looked down upon and the more discrimination we will face.

    • @INTERNATIONALZOE
      @INTERNATIONALZOE  Год назад +1

      No I’m sure they didn’t say it that way, a lot of Asian girls that have a little pudge or extra weight call themselves fat because their culture considers them to be fat or less attractive and maybe also they say fat because they don’t know the language enough to use terms like thick Or voluptuous.

    • @yodad723
      @yodad723 Год назад

      @@INTERNATIONALZOE It's true that what's considered fat in many asian culture would be considered as having a little gut or thick in many other cultures but in many Asian countries calling someone fat or "too dark" is more openly accepted and is considered less insulting than most other places because they view it as the truth for the person to just accept and change so that person gets on code and shows they're not too poor or lazy to change to fit in with what's considered the ideal type of person in their culture. There's still alot of Black men(especially Africans) who get the Asian women considered unattractive in their community or low quality.
      Difference is the African men try to integrate more in the culture and look more for marriage even though the girl is unattractive because they have less options while Black American men having higher standards as far as looks but is looking to mostly either smash a Asian girl with similar features to Black American women(Alot of the time there looking for ones similar to the hood type) or they end up choosing the unattractive or average girl to be in relationship with(or simp over) because they're not used to feminine softer women who treat a man as good in comparison with their experience with Black American women.
