I love the Oris Auqis cal400 blue. It has a stunning star burst and beatiful color in all lights. And it ticks every box for me. It punches way upbove its wieight in spec.. Stunning watch. And I love that Oris in house and not owned by some group and ofers great value for money that beats watches in the 10k range..
This introduction and review is very interesting as which conversation and difference views of the two watches are expressed. Personally I would prefer the purple diver watch as it is more useful.
Oris are the most collectable brand watch atm in imo. Tried on a big crown pointer in bronze recently, staggering beautiful. As for the purple dial, yes please
It is actually deliberate that the movement looks a bit like the Oris Bear when the rotor is in the right part of the movement. The spring barrels are the ears etc.
I have the Oris Kermit, so I am biased. I think it is a great watch. Regarding the dial, you need to observe it in different light conditions, it will always show a different face.
I don’t think it’s any chance, it’s only a date wheel and a dial. Ultimately that’s not a great risk. You can’t go wrong with the Muppets. A small pink version with Miss Piggy would almost certainly be a hit.
subbed to the channel - great review - I'm hankering on the purple diver - but it is more expensive than a regular Oris with same calibre + it's a no date ( which I actually aplaud ) no diver needs to know the date unless he's underwater & forgotten a plane to catch.
Nice review. I totally agree with your opinions of the watches, BUT I wouldn't take either. I agree that they got the color of the Kermit wrong. It should be darker. I think almost everyone thinks that. What would drive me crazy though is that, not only can you not see the indices, you can't see the date! Wtf? I have the Cherry Red. It was also a little divisive when it came out. It was (gasp!) RED. I think it's the most beautiful watch in my collection, and it's my daily driver. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Oris taking a chance, nothing wrong with that. I prefer the purple dial watch. Thanks for the review and conversation as always.

ORIS get my kudos for daring to be different. Most brands just mimic what Rolex is doing.
ORIS has nailed both the green and purple on the dials.
❤ Nice review of a fantastic brand❤ I love how ORIS is willing to take risks and go their own way❤

Can’t wait for the Miss Piggy version of ProPilot X.

I absolutely love what Holstein edition. That’s so fantastic but not too look at me flashy.

I like both , but would not become part of daily watch rotation. I'd most likely end up flipping these at some point.
Brilliant reviews 👏 well done boys.
Limited to 250 pieces has got to reel you in even if the design is a little different
What a great video !!! 👏👏👏
The Kermit is interesting, but not my thing. The purple diver is nice
Oris Aquis Cherry Mens Watch £1,520 £1,900 You Save: £380 (20%) "Chis Holm Hunter"
Kermit is over priced for a novelty watch. Give Oris credit for being creative.
Agreed 👍
Oris are so whack
