Norman standing there watching from behind Joe like "this guy pays my mortgage every month"
Cool to see Norm there. Norm seems like such a cool guy.
Stunning show, I think Norms mortgage was paid along time ago. PEACE AND LOVE TO EVERYONE ❤❤.
Notice how Kirk effortlessly keeps the rhythm during the trade-offs, plus adding his leads? Cool guy.
2:25 Josh looking at the Marshall amp thinking "who the F*** uses this amp for a blues gig" LOL
He's looking at it like it's a spaceship. So would I, tbh.
Lots since Clapton on the Beano Album 🎶
Never liked a tele sound through a marshall.
Was just about to put 'josh politely wrestles with marshall' but realised it was first point on the comments! However there is massive truth to # its all in the fingers # and all we hear is fab tone!
😂👍
Not 1, not 2, but 3 of my favorite guitarists.
heavenly 🎸👍🏼
Yep, they are really a great generation of new blues players
@@ralex3697 We're just missing the great Eric Gales and Mr. Kingfish Ingram and I'd say that list would be near completion.
the bluesmen of the past can rest easy , the future is in good hands.
at 5.52 the hobbit that is secretly fond of gandalf appears under bonamassa's guitar
Rohan Ganguli genius!
Now that was a cool jam session. Congrats guys. You already know this but.... You Rock!!!!!
Wow, Mr. Bonamassa's phrasing sounds very "out" and at the same time right on in this blues context. Great playing!
Kirk and Josh are my favorite modern blues guys, but Joe had some pretty magical phrasing in this one
You post some of the tastiest music on RUclips!! Thanks so much mate!
Is that Norm on the right of Joe Bonamassa?
Norm is awkward
Yes...
looks like it
Bootlicker
norm: ok I've nodded and smiled to show I appreciate it. what do I do now
norm: KEEP DOING IT NORM
norm: ok norm *nods and smiles*
With all the problems around the world, music like this seems to make it all go away. Long live the blues , I think it is in good hands and the future is safe………..
I like Kirk's inclusion of some of Cliffs of Dover :)
And that made joe bonamossa out of idea on what to play.
My guy Kirk Fletcher eating it up, he's sitting on those notes letting it marinate in your soul. Between the three Josh, Kirk, and Joe it's some serious melodic playing.
norm behind joe!!! jaahahaha
Just sit here in Austria with bleeding fingers and try to steal some riffs... So much passion. Love it ❤
the new 3 kings of american blues, right now!
Totally agree!
much as I love these 3...they are among many others who keep the blues flames burning...Chris Cain, Greg Koch, Eric Gales, Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Matt Schofield, JD Simo, Jack Pearson, Guy King, to name but a few.
In your opinion, not others
@@sumoblues Thanks for mentioning Chris Cain, one of the most soulful players/singers I´ve heard ever.
i@@sumoblues I would add Gary Clark and Marcus King.
God bless these absolutely amazing players for donating their time and talents to a good charitable cause! And hats off to Norm for the Promo…..🌳
Fabulous. How did I not hear about Kirk Fletcher until toady #asleeponthejob
What scale used in 3:47 and 4:31 for playing outside ? Anybody knows ?
He's using G mixolidian with some chromatism, I guess
Giovanni Gentile yes thanks and also maybe bebop major scale
@@kasramojami4485 yeah that's kind of the same thing
Joe Bonamassas is one of the cleanest sounding player's I've ever heard. He never ceases to Blow my mind.
Watching the joy on Norm's face brings joy to myself.
PLaying with these guys was very very very cool ! We're all lucky to have them out doing what they do so well.
no! they were lucky enough to be playing with YOU!
Gotta say Joe is absolutely smokin it on this tune, best I've ever heard him..
Simon Law he does sound so much warmer with that hollowbody. Should adopt full time
this is his best playing
Kinda sounded like Chris Cain for part of that solo.
@@PNW_Fiddle everyone is stealing from chris cain now
There’s two too many guitars up there. Great sounds! Thanks for this! That Marshall has way too many knobs. Just an opinion.
Jeez all the jokers with the flash photography.... that's not annoying at all while you're playing.
3 of the best blues guitarists of the modern era on one stage. Now if only Joe and Kirk could take Josh’s cues on the trade off timing! 😂
Sorry, first half was great but throwing all that tasteless speed chops ruined the tune in my opinion.
I feel like Kirk needs to have a more punchy mid rangy tone that really bites. His chops are on par with the best but with a killer tone he could steal the show.
Madhu Dason He does lay low. Personality maybe?
@@annunacky4463 modest dude and his influences are generally pretty clean players
That was pretty cool it's always good when they having a good time
Guitarist you should listen to this at half speed with headphones ..... Awesome.
I have several times and still can't figure it all out. Killer licks... Joe Bonamassa should play like this all the time....
pretty much cant f%ck w Josh. some pretty bad sh$t there.
Absolutely love all of this, but just got to say Joe's 335 sounds absolutely killer.
jjohn341 funny you say that because joes guitar tone was my least favorite. I love the pop and dry bright tone of joshs tele the most. Pretty great to hear the three play together though
That was a 345 actually.
@@juka421 Agreed. To me: 1. Josh... 2. Kirk... 3. Joe That goes for favorite tone as well as favorite solo.
It is nice to hear them all playing together, because they actually listen to each other. They aren't afraid to leave space. Usually you get 3 guitar players together and it turns to chaos.
I saw Norm in the background. :)
Just a room full of beasts. So damn good!
Mindblowingly awesome!!!
Am I the only one that prefers Kirk Fletcher and wishes he got more solos? Turn it up my man, you’re the real star!
Lol no I love Kirk...but Josh is on a completely different level. I think they go together perfectly tho
baaaddd bad dudes right der.. taking it to a whole nother level bros! Imma have to try and steal some of dose licks, wish me luck
Worth a million rather than going for Tay Tay concert..
Love the entire thing, especially norm
fantastic gig, thank you for sharing, amazing stuffffff
eric johnson riff at 8:58
taking a jab at Joe
heey, is that Norman standing behind Joe
Yes
Think they will play at my house party ?
The smile ☺ on their faces says it all....all three monster guitar 🎸 slingers respecting each others licks...👍👌👏😎🎸🎸🎸
Nice jam!, classic blues number. Eh!...it's Norm from Norms rare guitars!
how chromatic can you go seems totally hip these days which keeps the blues fresh instead of the pentatonic riffs we,ve all heard a million times,, amazing players,,Josh Smith always blows me away, so tasty, and Joe as good as i have heard him,, thanks to the poster for this gem !!
Norms chilling on the side hahaha
Reo speedwagon's drummer?
Norman's Rare Appearances
Needed derik there playing slide, and this would truly have been a bucket list event for me.
At 2:22 Josh Smith looks at that Marshall like WTF is with all those knobs.
Kirk Fletcher ripping Albert’s licks, he is allowed
Really like Kirks playing and what a sweet man
4:46 Nice Danny Gatton quote!
Some bad dudes right there ....👍🏼
Guthrie is one of the most versatile and talented guitarist of today. 👍
3 of the greatest guitarist of blues
Wow, what a line up for a great cause.
kirks great!! saw him live last year in the UK!
Well I'm a big fender tele fan , but (dam) both the gibbons win this for me on the tone , absolutely love kirks solo .
Everyone’s has great chops and interesting ideas. Kirk played the blues. Yeah baby
that really came together at the end
this was nothing short of amazing . I didn't know joe B was that good man he is smokin
Legends
YOU ALL PLAY VERY VERY VERY WELL TOGETHER!!! & It was for SUCH A GREAT CAUSE!!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!!!!!
I 'm not a huge Mr Bonamassa's fan (he' s a great guitarist of course) but for this Jam, I have to admit that he' s awesome! Mr Smith is a master, every note he plays sounds so perfect. and Mr Fletcher plays so well in the pentatonic scale.
This concert is a kind of a dream for any blues guitarist fan...
systemblues it is hard not to like Joe the guy is so damm good.
Joe never seems to get the full credit he deserves. He’s as good as the best of them and better than most.
I love it, theese guys are all awesome players and I love to see the fun the had when they traded solos
you can salivate all day and listen to all those licks. deym!
This is such a cool jam to a great blues classic.
Joe was blown away by Kirk´s playing in the end of the video.
6:05 love the guy to the lower right of Joe, flipping through his phone, while Joe Bonamassa is absolutely ripping world class blues rock guitar about a foot away.
I think he was recording it
You cannot wake someone who is faking sleep.
Lol the boys got a new backline
Kirk is awesome! Whoever he plays with must be great too.
Josh is a huge guitar player but i can not bear to hear his voice ...
Haha! Kirk with the Cliffs of Dover quote!
Norman is the Eddie Trunk of vintage guitar
YES YES YES LOVE IT!!!!
Three absolutely sensational guitar players, holy smokes!
wow! bravo!
I really like the drummer's style! Very groovy!!
Smokin hot.
And each one of them has been doing that since the day they were born.
Awesome!! G London 🎸🎙😎🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Hey look there is Norm!
Keeptrying
Josh Smith Joe Bonamassa troppo grandi...
Joe should play more solos like that in his records
Time to buy some decent mics & cameras 1AristaDance seeing your at every blues show in the world and obviously live a life of luxury so step it up for us poor bastards in the trenches who dream of a free life travelling around seeing live bands. Yes, I added to your 119,000 subs. Sydney, Australia.
This is soooooo good.
3:49
Looks like Joe's gettin fat in the middle!!
Wow! All this talent in such a small space
Holy fuck
Fun Jam ! But please don't call this Crosscut Saw ! It's time to give some basic education about how it's done... This song originally has a rumba latin rythm . Albert King played solos on this tune but always kept in mind that this groove needs to breathe !
Three of the baddest Dudes on the planet! 🙌
Norm
The best what a performance ❤️ 💯
is that a leslie spinning back there?
Great concert for a really good cause.
