Sorted out the order of the comedians, planned out the timetable, where the breaks go, how much material I use in between each act, written down all of the pubs, bars, and shops to thank that let me put posters up to promote it, got the camera set up to film it, with extra batteries and back up SD cards, and microphones, set up an eventbrite page for it, got someone for security, to take the money on the door, and to keep an eye on the camera. Just need an audience ha ha.

Yes definitely start your own! All you need is a venue with a spotlight, a mic and a sound system. And you don't even really need the light. Go for it!

The last thing is my hardest aspect of hosting. I get big laughs in normal sets, but nothing when I'm hosting.
That can easily happen. Luckily it's not that important when hosting.
