Imagine after obiwan cut vaders mask, the fight continue and vader overwhrlms him and obiwan flees, and vader just stands there watching and whispers "run , hide, know the fear i have known. I will allow you to escape with ur life only so you can suffer knowing youve failed once again, snd that all hope is lost" or something like that

I’m not saying I like what Disney has done. Not at all. But in the 20 - 30 years Darth Vader was around in the Star Wars universe - he would have a couple of close calls. That’s just the reality of constant combat.
I’m also not defending the show. But him losing to Kenobi again - goes to show how blind he still is with anger and agreeing towards him that he still can’t focus properly when fighting him as it’s less than even a decade since their fight on Mustafa. He’s still heavily emotional and blinded when put into specific circumstances, like having to fight Kenobi again.
Also, Reva is definitely an annoying as hell character and he absolutely destroys her like he’s playing with a child. Not sure what point there was in bringing her up?
A counter point for Survivor- Vader is clearly seen grabbing her arm. He was winning until he was caught off guard by Cere- and when she pushed too far, he simply used his superior grappling.
Finally, someone else says it! I've been saying Vader is just used as a "punching bag" now.

Exactly, I think the same way. You can even add the season 2 premiere of Rebels. Vader couldn't kill kid Ezra. And he left the job to weak inquisitors. Pathetic.
Reva was such a ridiculous character. Nothing about her arc made sense. I'm still not entirely sure what she wanted to accomplish. Plus her being stabbed by Darth Vader and surviving was just silly. It's like they didn't even try to make her relatable. They just shoe horned in the flashback of her as a kid and it's like "oooohhhh! That's why she is hunting Obi Wan and wiling to torture/kill a child. Because she's mad at Darth Vader" lol just goofy writing and story structure.
The way i look at the fight and don't get me wrong i agree i see the fight in reality only being the cut scenes the gameplay part is just for fun so in the cut scenes im pretty sure she hits him like twice but the only real damage he gets is when the archive falls on him and we know the reason he got even hit that much was because he underestimated her like he always does im getting tired of the whole he was arrogant so he lost or got fucked up it's become lazy writing and the only way to nerf him also he redirects the lightsaber it was a stupid move but vader just casually moves her.
Kenobi was stupid it should have been a draw it should have been obi wan and reva vs vader don't get me wrong reva should get no diffed but at least it being a 2 v 1 would give some credence to Vader not wining, u could also have obi wan bring up padme in there fight saying how she believed there was still good in him and this makes him lose control and become unbalanced giving obi wan the upper hand but the writing for that show was so bad
The Padme idea would be good because then he would be fighting an eternal battle aswell
@@BetterCallSahly Right, also Vader says in ROTJ that Obi wan once thought that there was good in him but we never got to see him even try to bring Anakin back he just says sorry and my friend is truly dead bruh if you truly believe Anakin is dead and he is just Vader kill him when you have him beat instead of trying to get Luke to do it like 10 years later i don't understand how the writers thought having obi wan just walking away was a good idea. kenobi is by far the worst disney star wars show bcs of it's lack of logic in the script, the whole thing with reva going to tatooine to try taking luke's life is just so dumb
@@BetterCallSahly I don't know what is the proble with Darth Vader power level. He has been insanely buffed by Disney. Vader is one of the most powerful sith lord but he is not an invicible demigod who no diffs everyone (though this is what Vader fanboys want to hear). He could have been if the wouldn't lost the duel on Mustafar. But now he is about 80 percent of the Emperor's power. If you ask me he shouldn't be able to rip ships out from the sky and so on.If that is not power than what?
I don't feel like they ruined Darth Vader, not yet at least (his character, his legacy got ruined in EP9). I feel like in the Kenobi show he had to lose against Obi Wan (this fight should have never happened but it is what it is). Kenobi I believe is only 10 years after Revenge of the Sith. There is still some of the over confident Anakin left in Vader. Vader probably thought he would whoop Kenobi's ass after their first encounter. Now beyond that, Kenobi not killing Vader is pretty stupid but at the same time just shows the even Kenobi cannot do what must be done. As mentioned in the video it would have worked if Vader thought he killed Kenobi, but I think him losing works just as well.
As for Reva, that's more of Disney issue than a Star Wars issue. She should have died (I was actually pleased when she got stabbed initially thinking she was dead). Many characters lately are getting stabbed and walking it off for some reason.
I agree with the Jedi Survivor as Vader should have been an unwinnable boss you run from like the first game.
I don't think Vader should have his own show/movie because, well he has the 6 movies. And knowing Disney, they will ruin him in it as they seem to be doing in all their "character named" shows.
Vader IS an unwinnable boss in Jedi:Survivor. You still die even if you do everything perfectly.

Disney ruined all of star wars not just darth vader star wars sucks yes I can agree thier was a couple scenes that made vader look good almost god like made obi won and even old luke and young luke in mando look god like in the force but the storyline was horrible absolutly terrible writting it sucks so bad I who grew up in the 80's and 90's hate it and I garuntee people of my era hate it they will never make a star wars film that even competes with the originals anything after the prequals is garbage
Developer confirmed Vader held back and didn’t take fight seriously until after he was injured in Jedi Survivor.
It's an established character trait of Vader's. He did the same when fighting Luke at Bespin.

Put simply. Disney being involved at all ruined him. Disney almost ruined clone troopers on several occasions. If they fucked up clone wars S7 they probably would've been done with star wars.

The jedi on Kessel after he got his suit, the Maul doppelganger forcing Vader to stab himself in the gut, Luke empowered by Obi-Wan's force spirit, Marek, Starkiller clone and an ancient jedi with an amulet the latter fighters left him I'm in a far worse condition than cere did.
Under Disney he's only been beaten by Kirak infila (Vader was unarmed and new to his suit), Lord momin, Cere and Ahsoka who only got a hit in because he was distracted. The Kenobi series shouldn't have happened.
