If you can get a hook into the wood behind the drywall, it should be very secure for hanging. I use a stud finder. If I miss the stud with the drill, I just patch up the hole with drywall mud. Really pretty plant! Interesting how you use different substrates.
That’s a good idea, I just don’t trust myself to do it properly. But you just reminded me I have these hooks I can probably use so thank you! 🌱🫶🏽
April! We can see your 5 dollar pot; wherever did you get it. I have a fiddle that might love it.
It’s from the dollar tree! I can’t get that damn sticker off 😂
@@aprilbrooks 😁😁 Try a warm rag or filling it with hot water if it won't warp it and scrape the crap out of it.
Not sure if I missed it. With the Monstera repot in that large clear pot I would have put a wicking set up. They work so well.
I don’t think they work the same in semi hydro as they do in soil 🤷🏽♀️
Wow! You've taken me to school on the semi- hydro Ms. Brooks. I didn't know so many plant varieties are adaptable to this. (I was laughing when you were so carefully, and meticulously. Removing the dirt from the philodendron Columbia. Because, that is how I wash my afro.) 😅 (Looking forward to the next one.) 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱💯
Lol yes I love to mix substrates! It’s all just one big science experiment to me 🧪😝
@@aprilbrooks You're definitely doing it right. Because your fig is huge, and healthy looking.
April, I use thick shoelaces for my wicks. They are a lot cheaper. Athletic ones are great. 😊😊
Such a great idea!! Thank you sm 🥰🫶🏽🌱
Good job 👍
I love that plant too I hope it makes it. By the way you have a good voice❤😊
Hahah thank you! 🥰
April, have you tried Mychorrizae fungi with your pants in soil? It’s sold in powder and granules. I don’t know if you can use it with plants in pon…if anyone knows chime in. It’ll help your plant grow stronger healthier roots and I feel it helps with transplant shock. Love your pilea! My Jacklyn is officially dead. 😢 My El Choco is doing well, I have it in soil along with my Thais & Albos. My daughter found the prettiest Thai at her local grocery store for $30 and the variegation was beautiful and even. I don’t think she needed it but she fell in love with it and it jumped into her grocery cart. 🤷🏻♀️ I have not been so lucky but I hate grocery shopping.
Nope I’ve actually never heard of it lol definitely something I’ll try if I keep any plants in soil in the future! Don’t feel bad about your Jaclyn - I’m on like, my 5th one hahah I just keep buying them when they die lol I’ve never seen a Thai at the market but if I do it’s coming home with me for sure 🌱
Happy Planting lovely collections beautiful House Plants ♥♥😎😎🌹
Your Pilea Glauca is stunning! 🤩
I know I loooove that plant so much! 🫶🏽🌱
Hey April!
Hi Darlene 🥰
🎧🗣️🎤🎶 “Raining leaves.”🍂
😂😂😂
Hi I would of cut 10% of the roots with your tear plant
🪴Happy Planting🌿
Do you fertilize the plants that are in semi hydro ? I’m thinking of making the switch but I’m not sure if I need to add extra plant food - thanks ❤
Yes, I have the fertilizer I used linked in my amazon storefront- but I use a combination of dynagro foliage pro, superthrive and cal-mag! 🌱
So you mix fluval with your organic and inorganic substrate?
Fluval doesn't disintegrate? That's cool.
Yes, I mix it with anything really lol
💪😍💚🌱
Dat was a fart, who u kidin
LMAO I pinky promise it wasn’t 😂
