Girl, you should be a CPC instructor, I just finished my AAPC CPC course and I passed my final exam because I had your voice in my head 😂😂Now, I’m studying for my CPC certification
I just finished my 9 month course and I still feel like what you're saying is so helpful about going back over each chapter and taking it in slowly. Thank you so much!
I'm taking a 7 week fast paced course😢 and I wish I would have seen this video from day one. I'll be taking my exam in 2 weeks, but I'm still going to apply everything you said and hope and pray 🙏🏽 for the best. I'm beyond overwhelmed 😪. But you really are a great instructor and I'll continue to watch your videos. God bless you. 🙌🏾 😊
Thank you Bleu great video! I am currently in my fourth month in my E&M cancer center internship and I feel like the time is flying by and I am barely scratching the surface! Thank you for everything I am studying 20 hours and doing 20 hours of the paid internship!
The CPT book was harder for me to study and get a grasp on then the ICD-10-CM book. Also I just finished my overview of the ICD-10-PCS in my course and you weren't joking when you said that it is a different animal 😅. 💙💙💙
i freaking HATE CPT!! cpt was designed to destroy my life! lol i love ICD 10 CM & ICD PCS, even though icd 10 pcs is a whole other thing, its like a puzzle to me so i enjoy it more
@Jordan Williams I agree with the ICD-10-PCS. Even though I just got an overview of how it works, the nerdy 🤓 part of me was fascinated with the idea of building codes lol but I'm sticking to taking just the CPC exam for now.
Hi Blue, do you go over the CCS exam. I took a dual enrollment at Walter State Community College and doing great. Thank you for doing what you have done and still doing for other coders.
Thank you for providing all of this information. I have gone back and rewatch several of your videos and looked in your description box and cannot find the link that you reference to listen to the CPT guidelines. Can you provide me the link please? Thank you.
Thank you so much you are awesome and so generous. I'm going to start reading my book from 2021 I think. I took the class in 20 and we had the next book. Hopefully I'll get enough from a slightly older book to get started again. Thanks for all you do!
I believe everything happens for a reason..i stumbled across you for a reason. I took medical in a college loved it but they did NOT prepare me for the certification test. So angry and 10,000 later i still don’t do what i loved. You inspired me. Thank you. I want to do this so every time i make that student loan payment I don’t scream crooks!! Anyway I appreciate your dedication to steering those who don’t know away from the not so upright establishments. So all that to ask you 😂lol …Do you recommend a workbook for self study?
Thank you for this video. I just started my medical billing and coding program this month, we wont actually be getting into the coding until September and wont be getting coding books through the school till November. That being said i was able to find a copy of the CPT 2021 edition by AMA. I was wondering if you think it is worth going over until I can get the latest edition?
No it's not worth it to get a 2021. And my friend, that's a 6 month program you're in.... you need to study hard and A LOT. Because if you wait till September to start working with the coding part, it's going to be a struggle. Look in the description box, find the independent study video and start practicing.
Hey Bleu, I need some guidance and thought you could direct me. I received my associate degree in medical billing and coding in 2011. I also received my cpc-a. I became disabled but now I need and want to work. What would be the best way to get started? It’s been so long. Is there a refresher course? Any thoughts? Thank you
Hello I just found your channel. I have question I have pretext and it had some 200050 code but the cpt book did not have this code, can you help me to locate the 20000 codes because I didn't see them
My study plan was gonna be study 3 times a week for 4 - 5 hours a day. Lol. Is this a good study plan ? So 3 days of the week is dedicated to studying.
Hi mam. If I’d like to print out the book, can I only print till the end of category I codes? As I’ve heard the exam covers category I codes only. Is that true? I know I’ll have to buy the original book for the exam anyway I’m just talking about the studying phase

Getting ready to test on Wed, and I need to hear you on this video; thank You for sharing!
I love your videos! They are so helpful in guiding me to be ready for my ccs. Thank you!
I love your laugh, it made me laugh hearing you 😂😂…thank you for this helpful tip🎉🎉

I wish CPT and even the ICD 10 books were as easy as the HCPCS book.
They are as easy. The format is the exact same. Index, then tabular....CPT and ICD-10-CM are just bigger versions.
@@MedicalCodingwithBleu without a doubt you are right. I would never argue with the MVP.
Thank you so so much for doing this video 🙌🏽 Evaluation and Management is so difficult
You are my RUclips MVP.
😁💙

Do you mean ICD-10-CM guidelines?
Hi! Thanks for your videos and all the important information you provide. Can you please explain about modifiers? Thanks again
Please look through my videos I've done videos on most of them.

When it comes to us medical coders what is the main rule that we need to know before coding from the CPT manual?
Your question is way too broad I am not sure how to even answer.
Blue this is totally off the subject but... your hands are beautiful, you could model jewelry.

Hello I just found your channel. I have question I have pretext and it had some 200050 code but the cpt book did not have this code, can you help me to locate the 20000 codes because I didn't see them
Because 200050 is not a CPT code. Look the procedure code up in the the index.
@@MedicalCodingwithBleu thank you, I think this was an error on that pre exam test
@@MedicalCodingwithBleu i meant 20050

@@YuriLixI have other videos where I talk about it.

You'd just be setting yourself up for failure. If you're going to to study, study.
