- Rocky Marciano is one of the most lethal and violent boxers of all time but his character is really well represented in the video game Undisputed. After the patch though they have improved the damage system so I thought why not try him online!

The devs need to show more urgency with the online issues, it taking them far too long to get a handle on this stuff. 6 months in and the connections are still terrible. Host advantage is a massive problem, ghost punches still there, still no anticheat either. Its not good enough, no wonder the playerbase is dying.
The already spoke bout it. They said that the next update will be more focus on fix and not adding. Online connectivity and stuff like dat
I think the career is more crucial. I probably wouldn't even play online much.
This game is broken. I think EA might've hacked it. Everything is broken. Punch count, phantom blocks and punches, counters not being counted, judges blind, poor connection, epidemic of cheaters. I have officially quit playing until they make things better.
@@1979pmiller Facts the problem with the punch count has to do with the fact that you can get hit through the guard with full block meter. And yeah i played a hacker the other day, dude knocked me down with a 2 piece combo in the first round 🤦🏿♂🤦🏿♂🤦🏿♂
I think there should me more old school fighters added to the game. They were smaller than the new school fighters. If not, there will not be too many people using Rocky. Add Ezzard Charles, Joe Walcott and fighters during his era.
Get the game to fucking work before adding boxers, it's a shit show at the moment

In round 15 in Marciano's first fight against Ezzard Charles, Marciano through approximately 100 power punches. I'm not talking soft jabs, I mean rough hooks. Think about that! Absolutely crazy!
I got this game about two weeks ago and its been a long time since i paid for a game, started playing and had instant fun. Me and my mate played for hours and had so many laughs and that's what gaming is about. There is a lot of work to do but it has a great foundation.

In the previous update, they added new animations for him that were actually realistic to how he fought; but in game, the new animations made him feel sluggish and vulnerable to punches. They took out the new animations for this most recent update.
His character moves slow, That makes him seem sluggish. You have to remember tho back then foot work wasn't that big it was more about who's tougher. Thats why joe louis and Marciano moves slow.
You got some great left and right movement… lateral, if you will… go for the stomach sometimes when he is dazed, you land those often enough. Great job staying close. Wow I can’t wait to see this on PS5…

Ive noticed in this game (I'm sure y'all have too) that the fighters can take so many big shots to the head without dropping. Your last times you had big head shots and they dont fall
I been saying that bro. It's like as if only certain fighters have a knockdown trait and it's sickening. It disregards good boxing and reward the big shot. At 1 point they had a really good balance idk what happened. It's so bad i had to transform my game to win rounds instead of going in for the kill.

so does this game have a "queue punch" system , or do you just like throwing 4 punches from 6' away? because I saw it happen a lot. Like even when you guys started in your corners after knocking him down, from the other side of the ring you threw a punch ... was it remembering that from when you were trying to hit him when he was down?
yeah i agree they need to upgrade Rocky Marciano
its still early access so who knows maybe mostly all the fighters will get fixed in terms of ratings/speed, strength, heart, etc.
anyways this was still a great fight to watch again another knock out victory

Kinda glad I haven't had the cash for it yet. It looks great graphically, but the punching still seems off... and there are obviously bugs when you get magic dust knockdowns.
It’s so bad. Think of a mobile game. 2d animation type punches. The punches don’t aim for the head like UFC 3 or 4. It just arm punches

Whenever you say to yourself "how did i win that round" its because of host advantage. Red corner hosts all the odd rounds and blue corner hosts all the even rounds. Keep that in mind Ricky and you will notice a pattern

I dig into the body for the first 3 rounds when im against taller opponents.
In short, no. His is tracking still messed up, his punch speed is listed as 95, but besides his straits he is slower than any other heavyweight, and all of his power punches and his leaping left hook if thrown today won't finish their animation until tomorrow.

i brought this game and wish i could refund it, ive played ufc4 for like 1k hours, made div 20 multiple times. i got this game and the punches feel like they have no snap. you can land 40 clean full extended punches with wilder and people just move forward like its nothing.

Ricky I'm disappointed in the game! It's unrewarding to realism...Makes no sense to have to power up haymaker style for 1 power punch. Plus somehow youve got 2 ghost KOs in the same fight where the computer literally randomly turned both fighters off. Great graphics but bad mechanics.
Aye man don't get me wrong this game is not the best but for the love of boxing i can rock with it. You're absolutely right this game is fake af but sometimes it shines depends on who's playing

Ali and Roy Jones need to be nerfed. And by nerfed I don’t mean traits taken away or anything gameplay wise (since both are easy to play against) but just symbolically in terms of rating. With Ali I don’t see any reason whatsoever to be the highest rated fighter in the game. He ain’t even the best in the HW division…Marciano should be ranked above him and probably Fury too.
Roy Jones being 91 in the MW division is just criminal when Calzaghe is 90. I don’t know if the devs watched boxing back then or not, but someone needs to tell em that Calzaghe beat Jones soundly when they met and retired undefeated. Sure Jones has multi division accolades but his rating for the MW division should be one point lower than or equal to Calzaghe.
It’s funny that undefeated fighters like Marciano, Fury and Calzaghe are ranked lower than their hypetrain counterparts simply because some of em used to talk shyt back in the day (whole persona stolen from a pro wrestler named Glorious George lol) and had a few cool quotes and refused to participate in the Vietnam war, which is great but what does it have to do with boxing?

@@vicvega3614 lol the Jones fight was Calzaghe’s last fight ever so he was “wayyyyy” out of his prime too. Jones was 39 and Calzaghe was 37 at the time. Jones fought after that, and Calzaghe retired. What are you talking about? The Calzaghe fight had been offered to Jones since 2004 and he kept turning it down till 2008, wonder why? Prolly thought he could slip in a quick points victory on Calzaghe in 08 but met a superior boxer and wilted in the later rounds even after getting a forearm smash knockdown in the earlier rounds.
@@comtruise402 i couldnt remember all the details, its been a while and ill have to watch it again but i do remember Jones wasnt himself. All that earlier weight draining took its toll, i love both fighters and Calzaghe was definitely one of our favorites, man, i had so many great nights with friends in the 90s and early 2000s watching boxing, good times great fights. But my point is Jones wasnt the same and it was sad some of those fights, Calzaghe definitely won easily
Calzaghe was one of my favorite fighters but Roy Jones career is legendary. Calzaghe may have beaten Roy, all be it an old and way out of prime Roy. But Roy is one of the best boxers of all time, his boxing IQ is insane. His reflexes, athleticism, footwork, speed, power and showmanship was elite.
@@vicvega3614 hey brother I agree. I get your point. Both of em were not in the best of shape and it’s a shame we didn’t get the fight earlier. But boxing was still in a better place back then than where it is now. I miss those old fight nights too, best times. I apologise if I came at you sideways, I was frustrated at some of the fighter ratings and some fighter specific mechanics within the Undisputed game more than anything. Have a good one!
