I don't know how to feel about speedruns of my favorite Monster. Because on one hand it's really impressive and I love seeing people perfect fights, but on the other: my baby!
This version of Glavenus makes me violently angry lol. GU G Rank Glav is a top 5 fight for me so the IB version being a downgrade was a disappointment (what did they do to my GOAT’s theme???). That said, really solid run! I really like IB Hammer, it’s probably batting for 3rd after SB and GU Hammer. Solid gameplay as always man; great positioning, loved that golf swing headsnipe, and it’s awesome that you snuck in a wall bang during a clagger.
Funny thing about your description is that I'm actually the polar opposite on my feelings on Glav. I actually find his fight here more enjoyable, Gen/GenU Glave genuinely was one of my least favorite hunts in the game while iceborne version somehow made it enjoyable for me despite him still being my least favorite of the 4 (*Gammoth Gang Rise Up*) Great Run, always feels good seeing a monster I general dislike get their turn in the speedrun demolishing.
It's great to see a divergent opinion, but I can totally understand why people would hate Glavenus in Gen/GU, for a Brute Wyvern it's among the fastest alongside Brachydios and is sometimes annoying to deal with, running circles everywhere.
@@dynamo_lynn Agreed, yet I adore fighting brachidios. Especially with hammer. I think Glavenus's general body shape surprisingly plays to its advantage as even with big chunky weapons I found myself just short of hitting him alot of times. Brach had a giant pompadour that counts for stun dmg and is overall more thicker and Heavily front loaded compared to Glaves very awkwardly shaped head. In summary Glav should eat a burger lol.

Out of curiosity, do you still play any pre gen 5 games regularly? Do you still play a MH game in general everyday? I'll load up Rise or World every so often, but I'm really just looking forward to the next game at this point.
I rarely play Monster Hunter nowadays, I pretty much only play the series for videos or streaming, and I don't find time to go back to the older games I have. I'm also playing other stuff lately in general

Thinking about it those Bowser noises might be stock noises, since I can hear them even in a Monster from Frontier (Gurenzeburu)

I also had trouble with reshade at one point but somehow fixed it. Think there was a reshade injector on nexus

Your clutch claw follow up after brutal bang only hits once, why? Mine has multiple hits after I attach?
It hits once with a level 2 charge, multiple times with a level 3.
