Thank you so much for sharing this precious moment :) it so good to see they had the chance to reunite the cast so now and then. I was only 5 yrs old when this musical came out, but the soundtrack was always part of the everydays life. We will miss Olivia and the cast that already passed away before. @@speedlearner hi, all the songs are somehow, cause they make part of my childhood and they are uplifting, Summer Nights is for sure one of my favorites. But in first place I like the main track by Frankie Valli. This song was played so many times, where my dad used to build huge speakers and test them over and over again himself. Although it was not performed by Olivia or Travolta, the Grease main track, along many other 70's disco music had a good bass, low/ mid/ high pitch, perfect for speakertest. As a kid age 5, I was able to recognize songs only by the bass/ rithme, without the instruments/ voices - would be a great America Got Talent challenge :D

@@speedlearner Not sure what concerts/ artists he met. He was a great fan of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, ABBA, Amanda Lear and Blondie. Later he added Kraftwerk, Vangelis and Jean-Michel Jarre. But his vinyl collection reached in the hundreds, of which Grease was one of them :) and oh it was his hobby, not his job. Yes, the older brother of the 'four' Bee Gees was a genius indeed. What a pity the youngest of them (Andy) passed away too early, he was a good companion with Olivia, as was Barry. No wonder their albums were in my dad's collection, we're talking about the real disco music era here. So yes, I have a deep connection with the music from another generation :P

After Welcome back Kotter, SN Fever, and then GREASE really catapulted John Travolta to stardom. He skyrocketed to stardom. Olivia Newton John was nearly every boys hearth throb of a babe for so many of us boys back then. We used to talk about her. What a beautiful Aussie girl she was. WHEW! Then came Bo Derek-10.
Very rare do you see somebody like John and Olivia's caliber do these type of movie reunions. So huge props to them. And because of his boot and crutches that you could see him walking in on in another video I'll give Mario a pass this time for not standing when the cast walked up to the stage. 😊😊

I’ve watch this thing on tv, where they had the cast and it had some facts about the movie (how they made the movie the movie and all that other stuff when it came to movie documentaries) so I think it’s just the fact that she really isn’t big on reunions and such
I’ve never seen Stockard Channing in any of these reunions. She probably isn’t interested or she’d attend. She’s a very busy lady and had a successful career and I’m sure she loves this movie and the cast but that’s as far as it goes.
