I prefer my 277 because I can play it like a med, heavy or a sniper. Hitting most 500+ meter shots is always a good feeling.
on RU server patch 1.24 they have announced major buff for the whole line, this is new specs for 5A : current Default & New value

I would probably be better to refer to it as the Russian *game* now, as they’re entirely separate today.

Anyway, played this tank last time it was top of the tree and hated it with a passion. Felt like it had paper armour and a gun that derps so many shots or gets its heat shell absorbed by everything and anything that it was impossible to even get 1 really good game in it.
Mannerheim is actually getting map changes, they're probably getting rid of the slippery slope route, but place a massive mountain there to prevent either side from using it to get places, and also removing bushes on the west spawning team so the Northeast team can push easier... among other changes to heavy lane

the gun is fine, that aim time plus ROF...plus you have the mobility
those 2 blind shots are pretty insane lol
If I had to choose between 277 and 5a at the end of the day I'd take the 260 😂

Nah, IS7 is the goat, I’ve had games I would have never had in any other tank with this, crazy stupid tank and with a platoon and a half decent team it’s unstoppable

@@almedinatarik3370 nah, you’re probably using the wrong equipment setup with the is7, that’s why you don’t like it. I’ve beat an obj260 spamming full gold at me in a 1v1 tournament. I lost only half my HP. IS7 is better overall imo. Text me your equipment setup and field mods

I really like this tank, probably one of my most consistent T10 HTs. In my worst battles I still do like 2k dmg, while in good matches I frequently have 3-4k or even more dmg, and being an average player this is really enjoyable. It has speed, good alpha, very good HEAT shells, and a bouncy turret. The cupolas are not so easy to penetrate, if you can use your 7° gun depression, and if the enemy is not spamming gold. Let's be honest, even the E100 or S. Conq. turrent cannot really bounce if the enemy knows where to shoot and is spamming gold. The WZ's gun is also super nice to overmatch certain plates (BZ-176's roof, or Strv103B's lower plate). I also like my IS-7, which has better hull armor, but the WZ has better gun, better ammo, and better dpm. The speed of the two tanks are roughly the same, unless you equip the IS-7 with some fancy mobility build, in which case the firepower is really lackluster.

While I like the 5A better for randoms due to its higher DPM and better gun depression, the 277 is just better for competitive modes where you need higher speed. 277 has higher top max speed and much better ground resistances. They are both bested by the 260 of course.
Having a hard choice deciding? Pick the 260 lol
I just can't play this tank with hardening. WZ 1115A has so fragile ammorack that the only way to make it work is playing with improved configuration or alternatively with experimental eq. I like this tank tho.

Yeah basically sidescrap > ammorack. Do you know if 113 is less prone to get ammoracked in this position? I currently have T-32-1 and IS-2. These two lines share many guns and engines which is nice but on second thought, 113 seems good option mainly for unlocking the top gun of WZ-120. If you were me, which would you prefer, 113 or 5A?

5a -7 gun dep but less armor and got 2 huge cupola
277 -5.5 gun dep troll gun/armor cupola is 404.exe not found
I have no problems whit my ob277 gun and i dont even run vertical honestly.
Its not sniper acurate but i can still snipe in it if needed.
I wonder how bad the grind is for this tank. It was not fun on console.
277 just for going faster than a lot of meds
277 has better armor and slightly higher alpha. WZ has better dpm. I feel like when it comes to armor, it all goes down to rng. U can bounce like a mofo in the wz.
5A does better for me all around.

i play 5a as that was my first tier 10 i grinded out long ago over the 277, plus i'm not going to get a 277 cause it meta better. It's dumb Russian bias since the 5a has weakspots, if you suck, you will get rolled, if you're good or great, the 5a will be amazing. instead of beign a window licker 277 who will only shoot heat at EVERYTHING
