I disagree with Konnan, I thought LA Knight’s promo was good. Especially his response to Roman when he said “talking like that is a good way to get yourself referred to in the past tense.” 🔥
I disagree also. I think some might feel that way becuz the promo was cut short. But that was all purposeful cuz they wanted to save LAK to do more the following week and he did with PaulH. And he'll probaly cut one more promo at the contract signing.

Is it talked aboit enough how Cody Rhodes has knocked it out of the park nearly every week? I thought he would become hokey and he is just maintaining this character with passion. Im shocked at how great he has become.

People seem to forget that DDP was OLDER than LA Knight when he reached the top and this was in the late 90s when those dudes were not as health conscious as they are today. DDP didn't train to be a wrestler until he was 35. He was a manager only at first. He debut sometime in the early 90s. Took like 6-7 years before he made it in the world title picture. He was already like 41-42. LA knight is younger than that.
Batista was in his late 30s when he became main eventer.

The Roman title reign is nuts, but the title change (soon?) is gonna be nuts as well. Imagine if they did a gimmick that was like free chili dogs at the concession stands when the title changes hands. People would lose their minds when Roman drops the belt.

The interesting thing with Roman & Cody's stare-down down, is that Karrion Kross posted a video to his IG of him off to the side keeping his eye on the two. might be nothing to some people but I immediately thought of last year when he returned and took out Drew. Scarlet left the hourglass in front of the Bloodline to close out that episode of Smackdown.

LA Knight definitely said fuck it i’m doing what i’m doing cause other wise he’d been fired with the other Maximum Male Models a couple weeks ago. Also Roman’s segments backstage were good and i hope he sticks around and doesn’t leave again.
If they're still planning Cody vs Roman at Wrestlemania, or possibly the Rock vs Roman, I don't fully understand putting LA up against him, now. I'd rather LA vs Dom, but maybe Knight has already jumped too high above Dom in the card.

why peak early? AEW made that mistake with MJF vs CM Punk. Their first promo battle was incredible, everything else just seemed tame.
as much as I want to see the match, we all know that anyone who wrestles Roman before WrestleMania is likely doing the job. I think it could harm LA Knight's character to lose to Roman at Crown Jewel.
Not if they start building a long term story. Three, five, ten years ago it'd seem unbelievable, but they have been doing their best work in history with long term booking

They're rushing this match. I really want to see it, I think it's going to lead to some great TV and the match itself will be excellent... but it's happening too soon.
Roman has to defend the title against somebody at _Crown Jewel_ , and Cena didn't want to challenge him again. It might as well be L.A. Knight since WWE can use it to maximize Knight's potential while Roman is still in a position to give ppl the rub.
