No katter what bodies start to break down in their 40s. Especially after 20 years of taking bumps. After growing up watching DDP, and then seeing how much DDP has changed people's lives post wrestling career, to me anything is possible when you put your heart and mind to it.

I'm 40, and I know that I'm too old to try to enter the business for the first time right now. For someone that is already in the business, 40 is not too old to get to a main event level. Plenty of wrestlers don't even hit their prime until their mid-30's.
What pissed me off was all the people saying hes too old to get a main event push and that Damien Priest was the right call to win MITB... Priest is literally 5 weeks older than Knight. What?

Anyway, it was battle bowl where DDP started his run and the fans started to get behind him right after that. Then he became a star and his fued with Randy Savage made him a superstar.
I hope Knight's back supports him properly, the match against solo recently where he slammed solo he was clutching his back immediately, most fans didn't acknowledge it, but I hope he doesn't suffer any big injury

Rey Mysterio is a god damn gramps and been wrestling since i was like 10 (maybe longer. I wasnt aware of him untul around 10 ) and im 39 now. And Rey is STILL going at it full force. Even got his kid MASSIVE while he was at it.
What baffles me is he's a safe wrestler and great on the mic. I've always said they need to bring back the Attitude Era promos and leave the chair shots at home.
Having a bunch of young dudes and old legends caused WWE to have its worst 10 year period. Now that all those guys have grown they understand the business and aren’t just looking out for themselves. The roster has a lot of the same names as 2014 but 10 years of experience has blossomed into a rebirth in the brand.

Honestly, all those years wasting away in Impact did him wonders for his ability. He was a standout there when his booking was good, and even when it wasn't you could still see what he was capable of. By this time next year, if WWE doesn't pull the trigger on just a heavy main event push (I don't see room for him in the world title picture at this exact second, but that's more due to how many others are right on that door.)
If I remember right LA Knight is also a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He has done great for himself for years. I'm also a native Marylander as well. I've run into him a couple of times here and he's one of the chilliest guys I've met
