Love my 2023 750 Gixxer. Got it in the spring of 2023 and put 11000 kms on it last summer. I gotta say I disagree with your 6th gear comment. 6th gear is a dog, like the 6-speed manual '08 corvette. It's for saving gas, no other reason to be in it when your not just being chill and saving money on fuel if your not going over 165 mph. Also, it's a lot quicker if you don't short-shift it. Power increases linearly from pretty low revs, but only begins to impress at 8000 rpm. Stock it reaches peak power well before redline, so room for improvement with an exhaust and tune, but still great acceleration in the first few gears. For high-speed hijinks, you need to upshift at higher rpm, not to maximize 5th gear pulling power, but to keep it well into the power band when you drop into 6th.
Love my 750 it's the best sport bike I've ever ridden and I've worked at a bike dealership for years now. A stock one was clocked on the Nurburgring with radar at 183mph 😮 Im 6' 3" and its great having adjustable rear sets and the good ergos. Also left my friends modded 2022 636 for dead 👹. Power wheelies for days and they only weigh 415 which is crazy! First bike ever ever worn the tires to the edge on without ever feeling sketched out.
Just bought a 14GSXR 750 anxiously awaiting delivery. Really appreciating all the positive feedback while my boy bought a Ducati V4R he's constantly complaining about the heat it creates. Do these run hot also?
This is an awesome machine. I have the 2023 in the gray and black. This is a track bike made for the street. It took me a minute to get used to the valve noise at low speed. I also have the GSXR 1000. I luv them both but the 750 just makes me smile. And you're right about comfortable. Both my GSXRs and the Busa I had are crazy comfortable. I figure when I see people hating on these bikes they've obviously never ridden one. I've had other bikes but nothing compares to the GSXR 🤘
The 750 has a ton more torque where you need it on the street than the 600, it's much more useable at street speeds. The 1000's excel at pulling to mach 12 faster. Unless you are dragging or doing speed pulls on straight stretches of interstate, that power isn't getting you much. The 750 is such a sweet spot; it's sad that everyone went to liter bikes. I love my 750 (and you are right; with a slip on and a good tuning session it really comes alive) and think if Suzuki would add the liter bike electronics to the 750 they'd have a really outstanding street/track machine.
This is true for basically all off the shelf bikes. Intake, exhaust, tune. Better air filter or box, freer flowing exhaust, tune. Bang for the buck. Everything else gets real expensive fast, not that you shouldn’t do more if you want more. It’s just the low hanging fruit to free a machine from the government imposed shackles.
@@joemommaganja tunning with a slip on should be like 70% as much of an increase in hp compared to tunning with a full exhaust. but cost 10 times less. "this is what iv been told a lot"
I'm confused....you said it needs a quick shifter but at 8:55 you were shifting without the clutch? Please explain what I just saw. Love the vids as usual!
Not my video; I just commented on it. However, you can upshift without using the clutch or having a quick shifter. A quick shifter is quicker and you don’t have to come off the throttle. Someone will probably jump in and say you can shift up clutchless without coming off the throttle…. I just don’t do that to my bikes.
My friend bought one of these new. It’s light like a 600, but a lot more power. The one liter bikes are heavy and way to much bike for 95% of the people that own them. The yoshi exhaust on these sound awesome and a tune brings it to a totally different bike.
Had a 2001 gsxr 600, 2005 gsxr 750, 2008 gsxr 600, 2008 gsxr 750, 2019 gsxr 750, and currently a 2017 gsxr 750. Everything about the 11-25’s are amazing, better handling I noticed immediately. Tho I loved the 08 design. But 750 for life, get a race tune, 40mpg but holy F.. hold on 1-2-3rd gear is night and day nuts.
I bought a 2005 gsxr 600 about a month and a half ago I love it my first ever machine never drove nothing and I'm 27 already put over 2000 miles on it and 3 weeks out of the month and a half I was out of town without being able to ride
i went from a 11 zx6r to the 750. I do miss the slightly more aggressive seating position of the zx6r but i love that 750 engine. its got that grunt down low
I absolutely love my 2018 Gixxer 750. I love it so much that I'm looking to adding another one and making it a track bike. Awesome vid and I like that you gave those kids some money for the lemonade. Your boy should send his ECU to Moore Mafia to get it flashed. After the flash you should ride the bike again and see the difference since it is a noticeable.
I had a yellow and black 2000 cbr600 f4 haha. I remember pullinf the choke back to warm it up. Then i also upgraded in 06 but went with a raven black R6. Nice video
I've never had a bike with a quick shifter, but I feel like one would be taking away something I love to do. Almost like the difference between a manual and automatic, almost. I just love shifting gears though.
I really like the color scheme and graphics. Is this the Z model? About riding in the neighborhood, I’ve made an effort to not rev or speed. And the people react positively to that. Instead of being the a-hole who makes a lot of noise and scares people, they generally treat me like, “the neighborhood mysterious dude with the helmet.” They all wave and the kids love it. To be honest, that’s gratifying. Outside my neighborhood, different rules. Just something to consider for future riders.
I have a old purpose built 750 Gixxer that really hauls some serious ass & nobody believes me until I put the Donkey Gaps on em😮 so I don’t track race street only & not too much highway

Ride to live and live to ride 👍. By the way how soft is the bottom end when going through the gears on the street? Does it pull like a 600 when under 4000 rpm or so you really have to Rev up the motor just to handle stop and go traffic.

Ive been considering getting a 750 just because I feel like it will be the perfect amount of power. I always felt like my cbr600rr didnt have enough punch to it. Why do you think people don't like the in-between bikes? Is it because the 2 standard sport bike race classes are 600 and 1000?
i agree, I plan on getting this as my first bike, and although i get that it's a lot of power for a beginner, I feel like itll be worth taking longer to learn on since the power is so usable on the road. I don't think I'd see myself "needing" to upgrade to a 1000cc since I'd probably end up with a felony anyway lol
I don’t think people sleep on them I think it’s Suzuki. They aren’t as up to date as the other companies in tech. People know and respect that 750 power. I have always hated Suzuki for their lack of staying up to date and their looks are ugly af Imo but I gave in and will be picking up my 2023 750 today. Hopefully I made the right choice but it was a deal I couldn’t refuse and nothing is comparable in performance except the 1000cc’s.
Only thing I hate about the 750 is that GOD AWFUL headlight, why can't they put a projector with LEDs, I mean thats the least they can do for putting out virtually the same bike since like 2011.
I felt the same before picking up mine and you quickly learn to love it. With led bulbs in it, it looks actually nice. Just replace the flasher relay for like $12 and do the led turn signals too. Bring it to modern looks all around

The only messed up thing about quad lock is the fact you have to use the case and I only use the case when I ride.
