Hey guys loving the videos, been watching all the old ones, such a realistic adventure your showing 😀. Shame about the injectors but your showing what can happen to any vehicle. Keep up the positive attitudes and this is the stuff you'll never forget. Hopefully you can sort out the 12v. You can also direct connect the lithium battery to the main battery once the engine is on, it will charge even if the voltage is a little lower the the dcdc output.
Can't wait to see you in Australia and happy to answer any questions you may have or ideas for places you must see in the short time you will have here.
Hats off to Tom and Jerry, absolute gentleman and hero 👏 🙌 👍

Tom is a good friend to have.
Remember Wyoming and Montana can kill you from Fall to early Spring. Winter is brutal. My mustache has frozen and broken off while hunting in Montana. My ears still hurt 40 years later, and I still have to wear a wool cap below 40⁰ F.
You guys are going south at the right time. If you take the route Eva took north, you will see a lot of frozen high plains, and a lot of Texas which goes from 4400 ft near Amarillo to sea level near the Gulf of Mexico.
    It will be an adventure.
    Have fun. Stay safe.

Texans are extremely friendly, and genuinely nice people. This is good, because most carry concealed weapons 😜.

One possibility for the oil spill is that in freezing temperatures its possible to have ice built up inside the breather hose blocking it totally and causing a pressure building up inside the engine. Pressure inside the engine can cause oil leaks and even failure of the oil seals. I hope you get Albatross back in shape soon and that there is nothing bigger problem in the engine. Safe travels and keep these nice videos coming.

That area has very little snow compared to Denver so hiking will be much easier. And that guy Tom.... he's a true Road Angel. We have scores of communities who spend a lot of time on the road and many of us live by the same code, which is to always help a stranded driver or rider & to pay it forward when someone rescues you.

Q & A: for the future, What's the best province you liked in Canada? Would you immigrate to Canada? 🥰

Interesting question... It is hard, we loved Alberta, BC and Yukon but we would probably settle in BC if we had to chose a place to work and live.

Sorry you and Eva have had so many mechanical problems with your Land Rovers. That doesn't speak well of the mechanical reliability of Land Rovers. And Tom is an amazing friend.

What is wrong with your Defender? Well, it is a Land Rover Defender is what is wrong with it 😀
Unfortunately, Land Rover is not known for building reliable vehicles and in 70 odd years, they never bothered to build reliable vehicles under original Rover, later British Leyland, BMW, Ford and finally Tata Motors. You would think one of them would have bothered to improve the reliability of them but no one did and kept passing it on like an unwanted step child.
You have the older LR that is mostly mechanical and easier to fix. The newer ones have all kinds of electrical problems and electronics problems with vehicles having problems at 200 miles. It’s ranked dead last in reliability ratings.
I have friends who have LRs and RRs which are in the mechanic shop half the time.
LRs definitely have their fans and diehards but I can’t imagine owning one that breaks down so often and in places where the parts are hard to come by.

Toyota owners do not have as much fun or many friends as Land Rover owners. You can join the dots as to why.
Incidentally, what is the pop up radio in the dash? Any specs? 👍🏻🙏🦘

Thanks Tom! If you hadn’t had the LR problem, you wouldn’t have done those activities while waiting for it to be fixed. I felt your cold though, electronically. Lol. It’s all smiles until you get the invoice! 🙈👍🏻🙏🦘
