    I found the best fix for my O1. After nearly killing me by backing out I tapped them together. Then I got to a permanent fix by getting a set of 22 designs Axles. Never had a problem with the POS BD again.

    I've done this technique. It's a sloppy kludge that works for a few times out. The pro-way, IMHO, is a dab of locktite blue 242 on the threads into the cartridge. The blue isn't a permanent lock, but adds the right amount of resistance. My last season of skiing had no loosening of the cartridges without the ugly, frankenbinding look, and worked better and longer. YMMV.
