This game is making me interested in learning a bit more Slavic history, the music is epic and beautiful. Love Dynis Aleksander's theme can't wait to see him in action his moves are alot similar to our HAMAA (Historical African Martial Arts Association) president Da'Mon Stith's moves and Tatars gives me goosebumps .

Everything about this video is awesome, both the music and the iconography. Speaking of the latter, one detail I love is the random Hermes on that picture of Gdańsk/Danzig, just hanging out with regular looking people (for the time). I assume he allegorically represents the City's reliance on trade or something like that. Also, the musical mixture of Slavic, Ottoman Turkish and Tatar elements made me think about Wojciech Bobowski/Ali Ufki. Look him up, the man was very interesting (I would make this comment way too long explaining why).
@@shapeshiftingmedallion3974 Bobowski, born in a minor Polish noble family (from what I've read, likely Protestant), as a young man was taken in one of the frequent Tatar raids on the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and sold as a slave to the Ottoman Empire. Thanks to his talents (and official conversion to Islam) he made quite a career, not only achieving freedom but also becoming a renowned translator, scholar, diplomat and above all musician and composer (in the Ottoman style of music).
It is lovely to see how this game gains more and more tasty meat on its bones, can not imagine how it feels to actualy do that. Keep up the great work.
I always though the score for skyrim could not really get improved upon. But hellish quart blows it out of the water! Supremely eerie, making battles even more memorable for me personally anyway 👌
@@Tiagabby4 really? wow. I think he's fine actually, perhaps just in need of a slight boost. Regardless, still a saber fencer. But yeah, can't wait for Eddie Swordo to come in, too. Also, we need more rapiers! Someone has to challenge our Goddess Marie, just so she can prove her superiority more clearly.
Will take this chance to leave a small support comment. Today my brother and I spent several hours just doing random duels in Hellish Quart, we are both adults with jobs and don't have a lot of time for gaming so that says something.
The people involved in making this soundtrack are great instrumentalists, so I would expect they performed and recorded the tracks separately and then combined it in DAW. Check out the Tartar theme backstage video with Bart Pałyga and his work in general (I would highly recommend "Płyta tatarska / Tatar album" with Karolina Cicha, it's here on RUclips, look for "Tatar Folk Music - Cicha & Pałyga - Tatarska / Tatar Album")
What is the translation to the lyrics on the field with the wooden fence. It is by far one of my favorite soundtracks of all time and i would really love to know some background. Like what do they sing, and if you composed it or is it a folklore song?
It sounds something like: "The crows on the field flew away. And with the crows, I flew away to eternal life (Or an unfamiliar land of light. I can't tell exactly.)
it's funny how many "Greek hells" (Tartar) I see in comments instead of "Tatars" 😂 indeed.. Hellish Quart music is a music of Tartaros 🤣but the meaning is totally different

16:04 - With Fire and Sword? Really has those vibes.
Exactly my thought. For sure it was intentional :')
Adam Skorupa. That name sounds familiar. Then I realized he made the music for Witcher 1. Yep. Now it's all coming back.
It's truly amazing that people from history got reviewed in a video game

actual goosebumps on the Tatar theme once the throat singing went on
We need 10 minutes version of all of these! Absolutely outstanding!
There should be a music-only DLC! I'd certainly pay for it. Love the history in the video too!
Nice start with Eddie Swordo's Theme.
when are we getting these on spotify? cant wait to add these to my fencing playlist
Bro I swear I had been thinking if the third music score was going to arrive and here it is, thank you so much.
Masterpiece...

Tatars best theme for me.
