Interestig topic. The students can speak in a funny way. We can use it with healthy and unhealthy food, also with some places, etc. The students could bring their hats for the class, in this way they will be more engaged with their role. I will try it in my English class here in La Guajira Colombia. Thanks teacher Val for your great ideas. You are The A1.

Hi Teacher Val, this is Renato! I'm having quality time watching your videos. I'm actually a newly hired college instructor. I'll be teaching discipline about "Teaching English in Elementary Through Language Arts" to education students. I like the ways how you teach language and reading to non-native English speaker students.

Hi there sir. I'm going to be a teacher of English in the future, if I pass the midterm exams, of course. Your lessons are very interesting to observe. It's very challenging to teach a foreign language in a language which is foreign for YOU!
Could you please tell me what grade is this lesson?

HI Agrippina! Thank you for watching! In this video I showed a way to apply the Six Thinking Hats technique to an ESL class. I think it will work in Grade 4 and above.

@@pita4249 Happy to see you, Sara! 🥰🥰It's one of my early videos. These videos were unscripted, showing how I usually and naturally speak, but they contain many 'um's and 'uh's, which can be unpleasant to hear. Now, I always write a script for my videos, which, I hope, has drastically improved the quality of my speaking.
