I'm a college student and I'm trying to understand Bloom's taxonomy and I saw your video, it's very helpful and easy to understand. Thank you teacher Val😊
You are a great source of ideas, which are not taken for granted, but they are always fresh!😊 Your creativity is overwhelming and solar!😊 Thank you for sharing! Bye bye! 👋🏻😊
Where I work, they ditched Bloom’s Taxonomy last year. Now we use Darwazeh's Digital Learning Taxonomy designed to categorize and analyze digital learning activities based on the cognitive processes involved. The DLT identifies ten cognitive processes, arranged hierarchically from simpler to more complex. In addition, DLT recognizes the role of digital tools and resources in supporting and enhancing learning.
@@Teacher-Val Sure! some examples: for learning and engagement: Kahoot!, Quizlet. For collaboration and communication: Google Classroom and Canva. For Creativity and Exploration: Scratch, Minecraft Education Edition. For Assessment and Feedback: Flipgrid and Class Dojo.
@@jennyvinyl85 Thanks for sharing! I recognize some of them, and a few are new to me. Where I teach, it's old school: flashcards, blackboards, and chalk. Also, quite a few of my subscribers don't have access to technology in their classrooms. Some schools (like Waldorf schools) don't allow technology because they focus on developing students' intellectual, artistic, and practical skills. Honestly, I don't quite understand this approach, as technology is just a tool - like a flashcard or a laptop.
Haha. I love pizza, too!!! PS I tried to structure this video in such a way that people could actually use Bloom's Taxonomy to teach a lesson or a series of lessons in class.
Check out this video, please. ruclips.net/video/GW4mf_S2kYc/видео.html I also start with the desired learning outcomes or language objectives and create activities that lead to these outcomes.
