Thank you very much, Maria! I appreciate it! 🌹❤
This is so thorough, it's just great! Your advice - about preparing for the possibility of running out of time, running out of material, or having technical difficulties - will save new teachers' sanity! Thanks for the tip about Twee - I'll check it out.
Thank you very much for your feedback, Hillary! Your comments are always informative and insightful! 👍

Teacher Val, may you could explain the different roles of the teacher in a typical lesson ? From being a facilitator, an organizer, a tutor and so long ....❤ciao.from.tge south of ltaly
Ciao, dear Sara! That's a great suggestion! In a typical lesson, a teacher DOES play multiple roles, including being facilitator, organizer, tutor, evaluator, role model, mentor, disciplinarian, and resource provider. I'll make a note and create a video about it! Thank you!!! 🌹🥰♥
@@Teacher-Val GREAT!! thank you teacher ❤️❤️🙏. Teachers are like actors, (let me make this association) play different roles in the classroom, depending on the needs and the class's circumstances. I would like to delve little deeper in this topic, that what's l may ask for your help! GRAZIE, from.the bottom of my heart ❤️🙏
Wonderful 👍👍👍👍
Thank you very much! 🌹
Happy Sunday Tr Val
Happy Sunday to you too! 🌹

Hi Scarlett! Thanks for the feedback! Will do! 👍
I strive to apply a practical approach with a bit of theory in all my videos to demonstrate what works best in an ESL class. Everyone can see my lessons. They are not perfect - far from it - but I don't hide behind the desk. I show what I preach. 😉
@@Teacher-Val thanks for answer!🙂
I like that you have much more control over your students than other teachers on RUclips. Your lessons are very well organized, including technically: everyone can see all materials, everyone is involved. On other channels I came across phrases like: "You can't control kids" (about kids 4-5 years old, maybe that's ok, I don't know). And lessons are not so well-prepared: big pauses, not all kids can see flashcards, etc..
I'm just going to work as a teacher in Vietnam, I don't have experience yet. Trying to figure out what age should I work with. When I watch kindergarten ESL classes, my head starts to hurt after 2 minutes (by the way, do 5-4-3-2-1 and classroom rules work with 4-5 years old??)). So I want to work with age 6+, but I’m scared to work with large classes of 20-40 people. I want to start with working in private centers, and 1-on-1 lessons. Your videos inspire me that maybe not now but later I will be able to work with larger classes. In your videos everything doesn’t look so scary. But I don’t see this confidence in other teachers' videos. It is clear that they are nervous and afraid. So now for me it's the main problem too, because I've been afraid of public speaking all my life. I hope I can overcome this 🙂
