Had it for a week now, very very slow and sluggish. It freezes often and you have to reboot it every time when it does, 30 secs needed , definitely not the most comfy ereader if you just wanna read and dont mess with software issues, came back to my paperwhite and I’m back to just reading.
Anyone else feel like the software is more laggy than the NOTE PRO? It just feels like the device is working too hard to process information and perform. Why don't they just put in the same hardware as the NOTE PRO? There's no way I'd get the NOVA PRO for note taking if it's that slow.
Can anybody tell how the template customization works for the note taking app and if possible post a video about that. I haven't seen on youtube or the web the options available for this configuration. Reason being is normal template lines seem too spaced for note taking, and in particular I love to configure the space between lines and paper size just in case I need to print my notes physically. Additionally the app does not allow to observe notes from a farther perspective. This is quite useful for notes navigation and create neater notes. By the way, are all the annotations vector based? That would be pretty cool for zooming and reading notes on different devices. I think onyx has a really strong software team and they can improve the already nice note taking aspect of this e-ink reader.
Hello, I've just started to use my Onyx Boox Nova Pro, but there's no sound when I try to use text speech feature and listen to music It's not in mute mode. What could be the problem? Could someone help me?
Yes just use a perfectly fitting Bluetooth keyboard case, and boom you can use it as an E Ink laptop. I will check if there are any perfect bluetooth keyboard cases for it that exist out there, that also have a nice if possible adjustable kickstand so you can chose the tilt angle for the device when using it in E Ink Laptop mode.. I am definitely interested in that and I am sure there are users out there already using bluetooth keyboards with this kind of device. And just open Android based Word, or any other Android based text writing app.
Not totally sure here but I think that layer is behind the display so it does not affect contrast or clarity whatsoever, I think it works magnetically through the display, something like that. I haven't read up on Wacom and how it works though, just guessing here.

I would definetly hire that guy!

Hello, I would like to know if the stylus is used to write to any file, .epub. mobi. .fb2 ... or if it is only with a .pdf. Thank you

Will it have handwrite recognition?
It’s listed now for $320
Unfortunately, no microSD card slot.
@@idk-gq3lh Have you seen the Boyue Likebook Mars? It's very similar to the Nova and it has a microSD, if that's what you want.

Did you try to pair some bluetooth headphones to it?
Can it type books out? Like writing?

How does the wacom layer affect screen contrast and clarity?

Does it have glass or plastic screen on Nova Pro?
Have received today. Looks and cold like glass.
