Dad never built a helicopter but he did collect some kits. I think he has a nice variety. The Fujimi are interesting because they started as 1/50 scale and then changed to 1/48. And I know I’ve said this before, but I have to comment again on how amazing the box art is. I hope you enjoy!

    They are well made, detailed
    AND FUN TO PUT TOGETHER
    GREAT BOX ART…
A few of these kits have been

Dad never built any either. I wished he had because I bet they're really nice models. We appreciate you watching and commenting!

I only built a few helicopters in my over half-century model building career, and most of those were when I was in Grade School. This was mainly because of the shelf space "footprint" they occupied due to the rotor blades. But I do want to eventually build my classic, 1/72nd scale Revell CH-54 Tarhe one day because it's so cool looking. Aurora had a kit of this out, as well. I also recently acquired the Atlantis reissue of the Aurora 1/72nd scale AH-56 Cheyenne - another one that was pretty cool looking. (I was actually surprised that your dad didn't have either of those in his collection for your montage!) In any case, thanks for sharing this with us!

Of course, I had to go look those two up and again I'm impressed with the box art! I hope you do get to build them. They look amazing!

Nice collection of kits. Those Japanese kits did have some outstanding box art.

Nice collection. Built the 1/72 Revell Jolly Green, 1/32 Revell Cobra and UH-1D, good times!
