8/20/24 The story started out very moving and interesting. I’m sorry I can’t continue this story, taking God’s name in disrespect, even in literary sense isn’t necessary. You are a good writer.
This is the second time I’ve listened to the story, and it’s so lovely and the narrator is so perfect. I truly enjoyed it again. Thank you so much for sharing.
Adeline clearly never heard of Thomas and Ellen Havers in their high society, knowing that a shared burden is a burden halved. Great reading Catherine, thank you. 😊
Same... I thought she was VERY judgemental towards hom but self righteous towards herself.. like she wanted him to grovel & explain himself but thought herself above such actuins???
I would like to see one of these characters that are being abused by people controlling their funds to remind them that eventually they will become of age and have control of those funds and when that day comes they'll be a reckoning and if she gets control of a large amount of funds she probably could destroy these people one at a time a nice cold slimy plate of Revenge
Again I am so enjoying the amazing narration by Catherine Bilson of a delightful story.

I’m glad she doesn’t. have him beat up again.and then kick him.
Excellent story ❤
As a very tall woman, it is SO refreshing not to hear about a tiny/short women as the heroine! Thank you!
I’ve listened to all other stories and loved them but in this one I found the heroine very judgmental and unreasonable. Loved the narration as always
I know right i don't particularly like the heroine either

Love your reading.
Thank you so much ❤
Fantastic story 😍
Thank you
I love your books, but I do not love using blasphemy. You write sweet books, but such language makes me flinch every time.

Unfortunately for them, abusers never realise that those they abuse will, some day, grow up and potentially even have power over them.
