That turntable has a "radio station" quality diamond needle and cartridge which is why it sounds so incredible. Listen to the stereo separation and you can hear all the instruments being played. This is truly the way a turntable and needle should sound.
I absolutely love that you can hear everything so crisply. I especially love that you can hear Stevie Ray Vaughan’s guitar licks a little more. Wish they released a version with the volume of his mix increased.
James Brown - lead vocals Stevie Ray Vaughan - lead guitar Dan Hartman - guitar, keyboards, backing vocals T. M. Stevens - bass, backing vocals Ray Marchica - drums The Uptown Horns (Arno Hecht, Bob Funk, Crispin Cioe, "Hollywood" Paul Litteral) - horns WIKIPEDIA. ;)
the only real way to listen to music at home, on a good old fashioned turn table, run it through the amp and whack the speakers up to eleven, hahahahaha biggest lie ever told, CDs are the future, they will last for ever! Ive never had one album stuck in the turntable, and they still sound better than CDs...... good choice of vinyl, James Brown doing what he does best... freaking loosing it and bringing it all back
I forgot how great the sound vinyl records were (are). This song came up in my head and had to hear it. Thanks for posting the entire experience. #needle #record #vinyl #smell #AsideBside

I agree, but I have a question. Dual in today's market their sold as a inexpensive brand. Is the older stuff really good in sound and quality. Plus Marantz is wicked good. Owned a a 1975 model till the finals went.
Yes, older stuff is made to last, and todays garbage they sell for big bucks, can't compete with stuff made in 70's, and early 80's. Dual 1245 is 1975 model, I think? And Marantz receiver 1972-73, if I'm not wrong... If you want to buy a new, good quality turntable, you have to pay at least 700$, I guess... So, why bother, when you can find used, but good ones for 50-150$... And huge, if not most important part with turntable is the cartridge! Never buy cheap ones(20-40$).
Stevie Ray Vaughan Played on this extended version, but the mixing was real bad....legend says that James brown didnt let Stevie's work to be listen properly...
Rest and peace Apollo. Mister Carl Weather ❤❤❤❤😢
That sounds so clean 😮😮😮😊
