- Alabama Baseball and LSU Baseball played in game 2 of a weekend series during the 2023 College Baseball Season.

Many of the sports I cover aren't posted by any other RUclipsrs, which makes this channel that much more important.
One of my favorite accomplishments is revolutionizing the way sports channels create thumbnails. I've adopted two different styles, one with logos on the left and a game snapshot on the right, and the other with the logos in the middle and game snapshots representing both teams on either side.
I have a combined 4 years of experience as a Baseball & Basketball Play by Play announcer, which is where I learned my skills for commentary/breakdowns.

Better for it to happen now so we know exactly what needs the most attention. Obviously they can put up runs but they have GOT to get their bullpen figured out. Injuries to pitchers and pitch location have been LSU’s enemy this year. Floyd has no business being a starter and Money is far too mid to be playing for LSU or any top tier baseball program tbh. They have good young arms but unproven nonetheless.
I might stroke out over it when it does cost us…

A lot of these kids started as freshman (crews, Morgan, I think Thompson, jobert, and maybe beloso) I gave them the benefit of the “they’re freshman it’ll come around” card the first year…

@Hayden Scarber this is his 2nd year but most of the pitchers in the bullpen are the ones Mainieri recruited. The others are young and still need to materialize. We will definitely need to go into the portal to get guys, get the good ones back healthy and tell the others to start looking for places to go.
@@MississippiKid96 unless you know what you’re talking about, don’t go blaming Jay Johnson for maneiris recruiting. He knows what he’s doing and will have LSU competing for titles year in and year out. Not just on occasion like with Maneiri.

I grew up in Altamonte sprigs Florida. Thats one of the true pipelines in baseball, central Florida in general. I played baseball against the best, sure it was little league but the cream if the crop comes from their and Louisiana. And i grew up in Mandeville, La also. I played up to my freshmen year for the skippers. But i stopped playing, that was a mistake i wouldnt been good enough for the sec but i could have played for southeastern, ull or samford, UAB. I Say the state of Alabama cause thats were i was born an family is all from there. But we moved a shitload when i was a kid.

It's an amazing game for LSU just another game this year that Alabama blows with their pitching so many games that we should have won this year that we didnot we should have beaten Florida in that series we should have beatin arkansas in that series And we could have beaten Mississippi state in that series Actually the Kentucky series we had a better chance to win than the Mississippi state. But Jason Jackson are pitching coach is the problem hes got to go bohannon has got to get an elite pitching coach. I mean He gets amazing Talent to come in to bama but I just don't know if he can build them up properly into the juggernaut they're supposed to be and we do have a few injuries this year like we lost our Friday starter Luke Holman he should have been in that game And we've had a couple relievers go down which has hurt us And we still don't even have a closer really I thought it was Alton Davis ll but he was a reliever yesterday so And he got his butt whipped on the mound. I did the same thing at first when I saw him post this last night; I saw it and thought that maybe he hadn’t posted a video of the game yet but when I started watching I saw that it was game 2 and then i re read the title and saw that I had read it wrong also 😂

Bc it couldn’t have been more obvious. My tickets are literally right behind home I watched it come off the net.
Pay attention to the catcher as well. You see him go all the way to the net and would’ve given up until he takes 5 or 6 steps backwards bc it hit off the net. I mean there was literally not question or doubt it hit the net; Bama’s coach just didnt want to be at the game tonight I guess. His wife or something must’ve made the trip with the team and he wanted some alone time I guess. There’s no other explanation

The ball must have hit the net above the replay view. The man wearing a yellow shirt and a couple of other people were motioning that the ball did hit. The umpire was close enough to see it, too.
2:32 how is it possible for the ball to come down at that angle if it’s off the net?
Do you realize how high the net goes? Without the netting that ball would’ve been in the parking lot somewheres
@@aaronbalakey5377 except you couldn’t see where the ball went soooo how do you know it would have been in the parking lot? It probably didn’t hit the net if the coach was that adamant about it. Plus it was call stands not confirmed which means they don’t really know if it hit or not, they just went with the call on the field. So it obviously either didn’t hit or barley hit.
@@chasemartin5373He moves forward almost like he’s going to reach against the net to grab it then he suddenly takes a few steps back. Seems like it was gonna be close and it bounced and he had to move back to get it.

Blows my mind these pitchers are in college walking 5+ batters every time they start a game.. every game I watch it seems there are 10 walks a game
college ball is no where near the level of professional... these pitchers on average aren't special
Whenever this happens its usually both ways. Seems a higher than average number of home plate umpires with super tight strike zones this season. Its really hard when the ump just won't give the corner. Its even harder when the ump is inconsistent, which also seems to be more frequent than you'd expect in conference play.
The pitching is putrid but the bats got it done great win
