This was the most beautiful performance I have ever seen.

I was blown away when I saw 100 dombra players all in white on stage with our prince & his dombra. Incredible! Dimash’s father Kanat & his friend composed & wrote the lyrics to this song a few years back. It’s amazing & Dimash became very emotional before his countrymen. Thank you Sabina. Dimash is always wanted to show his culture and music to the world and he succeeded in doing so. This song was originally sang in classical style as you can guess when you watch Gloria Wu channel. Then Dimash has some musical composition changed and he will always sing this version since 2017. He had performed this song in front of Chinese President Xi and President Putin when they made visit to his country at that opera house. Lots of his “ dears” know how to sing this song and “ unforgettable day”, even Russian and Chinese song . He was appointed as Ambassador of Kazakh culture since he was 24 years of age And had spoken in the National Assembly. He was appointed as well as Kazakh- Chinese Ambassador of culture in the same year. The “ shapan” he wore on “ I am a singer “ he auctioned it off and gave them whole proceed to buy equipment for the children with hearing problem . He has been charitable since his early 20 already. On his birthday, unfortunately he was in China for three years without his parents, he will planted thousands of trees to save the earth from climate change. That’s why every year the Chinese dears will plant thousands of trees and name Dimash forest! Awesome don’t you think 🤔 Another thing I like to share is that the spectacular performance and stage arrangement is always at Astana or now they called Nur Sultan. All his concerts were three hours and sometimes can be longer.😘

Until this concert Daididau from The Singer had been, if you could make it possible to have a favorite, that would have been it.
The first time I heard him was when I was having a very dark night, his SOS from the Slavic Bazaar.I knew I had never heard anything like this in my long life and it made me want to stay alive to hear more. He does not disappoint and I agree with you he is an enormous Force for goodness. Again thank you I love watching your reactions
He us wearing a shapan, he flew his fellow university students over to China to perform with him, they made outfits in record time especially. I love all the Dombra players in the Bastau version playing Adai, that was a very huge, very impressive concert, his first in his homeland and he got very emotional bless him. See him in New York, another tear jerker. This song means so.much to him, he has been performing it since he was a young teenager but now he has got it out to the world its extra special. All the Dears know all the words and sing with him at his concerts, its something to behold 💗💗💗
This is a very important song to Dimash. He loves singing songs from his county. Seeing how you will be attending his concert next year, you have to learn this song, he always engages the audience to sing along. At the New York concert, we the audience did sing, and he was so touched that he actually became very emotional. To hear a Kazakh song, sung in America was a dream come true for him. Hello Sabina. Today, there was no way to avoid tears. When he interprets this song he conveys all the pain that his people suffered. And dressed that way. The Kazaks musicians. Wow. it's magic. It is one of the songs that he moves a lot in stadiums in other countries when the Dears sing along. A wonderful and loving choir, even if they don't understand what they're singing. He is ecstatic to be singing and being accompanied in a song so important for his country, in his language. At the New York concert it was extremely beautiful. A dream come true for him, fans from 46 countries singing together. The video of Bastau with 100 musicians playing Dombra is impressive isn't it ?. I don't know if he noticed the respect with which he gives the Dombra he is playing, and the respect with which the girl receives it. The lights of cell phones like stars illuminating our prince Dimash, always bring even more emotion.

This is truly amazing. What a courage he must have to open his soul to strangers like that. What a soul to be able to feel emotions to such extend. He is beautiful. I don't think I ever prayed for someone I do not know personally, or at all almost, but I often pray to God to protect him, he is such a treasure.

I hear this melody in my head all the time. One of the most beautiful and tragic songs I have ever heard. His wife never left him as he was told but continued to fight for his freedom up until he was executed. I don't know if he ever knew. So tragic, so sad. I sob every time I hear Dimash sing it. In his Bastau Concert he became emotional (that his sweat and tears mixed up) becaise it it his dream that this Kasakh song be introduced world internationally and be known worldwide.
Did you notice that just as his voice soared in the videos of "We Are One" and "Across Endless Dimensions" an eagle took flight. I don't think it's a coincidence that the official animal of Kazakhstan is the golden eagle. I think that the pose Dimash takes at the end of many songs eg. "Opera 2", or especially here, where he's dressed in gold, with his arms outstretched, doesn't mean "Look at me." like some reactors have commented. I think he is symbolically embracing the audience in his "wings".

The instrument Dimash plays is called a dombra. One of the white suited boys playing the dombra in the Bastau concert was his younger brother Mansur, who I believe also joined him in the New York concert in December 2019. He had us all sing along to Daididau, even if we didn't really know the Kazakh words. He was so touched by our response. It was magical. Yes he has the most loving heart, his concert was like being immersed in a warm glowing world of tenderness and beauty. You really need to see him live!

And I have listened to him litteraly EVERY DAY since then.. And every day I tear up (or even end up doing the ugly cry..). I thought there was something wrong with me untill I realized that this is common amongst Dears.. 😂🙏❤

It is a beautiful song based on fact, and it's surprising that even though Kazakhstan was overrun by Russia many years ago, there are still Russians living there and the Kazakh people show no outward signs of ill will. Dimash can sing and speak Russian and was even asked to represent Russia in a singing competition. He gracefully demurred, saying that he can only represent his own country. Russia tried to destroy Kazakh culture and language, and switched the written language to Cyrillic. But in the past few years, the language has returned to a Latin writing base as Kazakhstan grows its economy. This has all happened at an opportune time for Dimash to spread Kazakh music and culture throughout the world. I believe he is Kazakhstan's greatest asset. And he uses his influence to propel young Kazakh artists to their own fame. He gives all praise to Allah. A very humble man, indeed. Please keep your reactions coming. They are a breath of fresh air.

At the start of the Bastau performance, as he starts to sing, he points out to the sound engineer that his headset was not working. It is amazing that he managed so brilliantly without any foldback.

Even after his performance of Daididau on The Singer, he cried backstage, because he had fulfilled a dream of sharing this song and Kazakh culture in another country.

This is my favorite song of Dimash and when he performed live in New York, I was there can not hold my tears. It was an unforgettable experience when I and many others Dears from different countries witnessed the proud and emotional moment of Dimash’s realized dream: introduction of his culture and country to the world.
Moreover, this is like a story of a small guy fighting vs. Goliath (the record music industry that poisoned the youth with their trash). Remember the World’s Best show when Dimash walked away from the $1 Million prize due to conflict with his culture?
And finally was able to set his foot back to the US without the help of the Record music industry.
