Если честно, никогда в жизни не думала, что весь мир взахлеб будет слушать казахскую музыку и казахские песни! Как много сделал Димаш для своей страны, для всего мира! Он объединяет нас!!
Когда Димаш пел эту песню в Китае в Айм- Сингер, зрители по-моему не дышали. Я таких зрителей не видела нигде. Каждый раз пересматриваю этот конкурс с Димашем, и просто обожаю каждое лицо , которое там было. Про конкурсантов , это отдельная тема. Все родные и близкие для меня. Приехали бы хоть кто нибудь из этих дюдей в Алматы, я бы их встретила сама и домой в гости забрала и как накормила бешпармаками🙏🙏🙏это казахское угощение.Люблю всех , кто любит Димаша

Seeing him live at the NYC concert is something I will never forget. This song at that concert was just magical. You could feel the love throughout the entire stadium. We all wanted to show him our love by singing the song back to him. You could easily see how it affected him. It was so moving and such a special moment for him and us. I will forever be grateful I got to witness it! As you have stated, Dimash is full of passion, love, and peace. He spreads his message everywhere he goes and he unites Dears all over the world. It is so special to be a part of his fan base and feel so connected to people all over the world.
Yes I was there at his NY concert and it was as you say ... beautiful and very moving! The love between Di & Dears was palpable and so profound. I am so, so glad that I was there to share that moment with him ... what a treasured memory! ♥️

So the song is special to Kazakhstan because it's written by a Kazakh poet who was imprisoned by an occupying regime. He was considered a dissident. While in prison he got word that his wife had left him and it broke his heart. She actually hadn't left him but he was devastated nonetheless. So he wrote this song...well poem.... about her. It's a lovely song and it's a national symbol to remember the lack of freedom in art when under foreign oppression.
Dimash's uncle arranged this song specifically for him when he was 15 years old. He loved it so much that he dreamed then of someday singing it for all the world. He sang it at the Slavic Bazaar (which is a contest that includes artists from something like 40 countries) when he was 20. Then again he sang in in China when he was 22. Since then he's sang it all over Asia, and in London, and last December he sang it in a sold out huge arena in New York. Everyone in New York was singing it with him and he said it was a "Dream come True". Something he dreamed about doing since he was 15. The song means a whole lot to him personally and a whole lot to his country.

Yes,this one was particularly special to him because he said in an interview he had always dreamt of singing Daididau on a very big stage of his country in front of a very big audience.That concert was the very first one.Bedides,there must be a special connection,a very emotional bond between Dimash and everything this song stands for him,he is well known for honouring,praising,worshipping the history of his country,its values and national heroes.

Как я Вас понимаю.Я услышала эту песню в 70 -х годах. Я была маленькой девочкой. Кто пел - не знаю .Может Роза Рымбаева. Но память об этой песне прошла через всю мою жизнь.Услышав ее от Димаша, я , просто," сошла с ума" , ))) Этож мое детство. the song comes from a time of oppression where the state persecuted, imprisoned and murdered its own citizens. The story is about a popular poet/teacher and patriot who was arrested as a dissident, for teaching his people truth about the world. While in prison, his jailers misinformed him that his wife had left him. He wrote the poem upon which this song is based, out of the sorrow and pain that this lie brought to him. He was later executed by the repressive regime that had imprisoned his body and so cruelly crushed his heart. Dimash sings this song with a longing and passion that transports you back to that dusty prison of long ago.
What a sad story . There are so many sad things Dimash sings about. Most of the time I am crying with the song. I think lockdown is getting to me🥲

You can tell at the beginning that his ear monitor isn't working right & he signals someone about it. This is a very meaningful song, here's the story: Prehistory of Daididau song.
The song for a long years were considered as a folk song.
However, later the scientists have found that the a song was written by a Kazakh writer, poet, scientist and a teacher Magzhan Zhumabayev (1893-1938).
The author of the lyrycs was executed during repressions in 1937-1939th. Therefore, he couldn't announce his writings, etc that period.
Magzhan Zhumabayev was arrested and sent to the prison. In the prison, he learned that his wife, the only love in his life, had left him. It broke his heart, and he wrote this song about his love and the great sorrow that he had then.
Eventually it turned out that his wife never left him (he had received incorrect info), and they were reunited in 1936, when he was released from prison.
Unfortunately, their happiness did not last long, he was again arrested and executed in 1938 as an enemy of the state.
The author expressed his feelings to his wife, when he thought that they never be together again. He called her Daididau.
The lyrycs of the song and Dimash performance are very toughing, especially, when you know the background story. Dimash could express all feelings that the author felt that moment.
This is a really important song for Dimash...He got really emotional, this was his first solo concert after “the singer” show at his homeland, completely sold out a 30 000 arena in Astana. He always sing this on every concert.....
and his traditional outfit..... he is so beautiful in it..... he looks like a Kazakh Prince.... so we just call him Prince Dimash...^^
